Goodbye, Paul.
Change is afoot, and I am excite. But cautiously so.

Pogba signing a massive failure from every department.
Firstly, the player himself, who surrounded himself with poisonous influences, put in minimal effort when he couldn’t be bothered or the going was tough, and was ill equipped for the rigours of Premier League football and made no adaptions.
Secondly, Mourinho, who didn’t adjust his approach nor his tactics and instead looked to shame a player into playing well - which looked all the more foolish when he started performing for Ole.
Thirdly, the club, who didn’t surround Pogba with enough complementary talent and lurched from manager to manager, ideal to ideal with no semblance of logic or strategy behind it other than the notion he’ll sell some merchandise.
Terrible signing.
edit: decent thread

I'm just of the view that he doesn't suit EPL football. Serie A is slower, less reliant on high impact pressing and allowed him time to be effective (or it was when he was there).
I think the whole thing about him playing well for France is misdirected too. If we want to talk about Maguire playing well for England because he's playing against worse teams then so it goes for Pogba.

Yeah, he’s far too slow on the uptake to thrive in the PL. Think about how often he would receive the ball, back to opposition goal, and by the time he’s turned he’s dispossessed. That happened time and time and time again.
One of the most talented players I’ve ever seen but never put it together for more than ten minutes at a time. I can never remember him dominating a match other than a few early Ole ones.

Pogba is a cherry on top type player.
He needs quality runners around him otherwise, he dies on the vine.
We weren't set up to accommodate him and when the going got tough, he couldn't cope.
He's a great personality, well liked in the dressing room, a technically gifted player to boot. But not a leader.
Well always have the vibes times.
His departure is a signal, one many detritus of the coming changes. Long overdue.

Pogba going frees up significant wages.
I’d be happy if I was a United fan on that front.
What a waste of money though.

By Laboured Go To PostIdk, I'd rather either of Bissouma or Tielemans over Neves. Guy does not seem mobile.
Both of them will cost a lot more I’d imagine
None of the best performing teams in the world have a player like Pogba who walks around like a star, gets paid like a star, everybody treats him like a star, and in the end plays like a BUM

What a time
Liverpool destined to win the league. You got the job on a technicaliteh. Endless gifs of Adnan doing a flick and then losing the ball. Even Everton fans were enjoying themselves.

Ultimately, I think it's kind of tragic.
You have this generationally talented midfielder... who just didn't match it with the effort. Like, the club and various managers need to take responsibility too - on various levels. But at the end of the day, you have to take personal responsibility for your performances. Lots of players thrive in shit teams. It will sound a bit "yer da" but even this documentary shite for Amazon... it's brand over football. Fuck that.
I have nothing to base this opinion on but I feel like Neves is the kind of player whose ability scales with the talent around him
Ronaldo came to a shit team at 37 and was the 3rd best goalscorer in the most competitive league in the world, scored 6 goals in the champions league, played 37 games, and yet a lot of folks been writing trash about him so I don’t wanna read none of that shine about Pogba.
Pogba good but you can count his good games for united in 1 hand
And after leaving for free, returning for 100 mil, and leaving for free again after 5(6?) years of nothing, it's quite a bad signing
Would not sign him(can't anyways)

Can we fast forward to the start of the season already, this summer is going to go so slow without the world cup.

I’m actually ok with little to no international football this summer. It’s normally what clubs use to hide behind when they don’t get business done early in the summer, so at least there will be none of that bs this year.
Sounds like Methven and Donald are selling to #cryptobros who want to sell "shares" to the fans via crypto lmfao.
One year of Sunderland being just a normal club where things go well happens once every 15 years.

Looked hot shit in league 1 but who doesn't. Fits the #profile of the club at the moment though. I'd take him back, we don't have enough lads in the team with great hair.
Oh for the days of Djibril Cisse and Bolo Zenden...

Bale is a legend. The appreciation showed on the celebrations show that madridismo remembers this. Don’t buy the rethoric that the fans hate him. It’s more a chiringuito thing.
5 goals in finals
Hero of Kiev
Copa del Rey golazo
Best player of the era after cr7
Thank you legend

It's not senior level, but I'm still very encouraged by what I've seen of Garnacho. Great movement off the ball, pace and finishing. It may not translate to the senior side, but I'd like to see him get a chance.
He just looks way off physically at the moment, unless played in a two up front. Not even sure he's ready for a loan yet.

Size is definitely an issue for Shoretire though. He looks a very technically sound player, but he's slight and relatively short.
Bale looked better with short hair.
I guess he just wants to hide the massive bald patch I feel.
Welcome to Everton, Bale.
