By Lupercal Go To PostNew theme and entrance is banger.Hobbs in TNT division, Starks in world title division after they feud would be ideal
Still want Ricky to win it in the end ;_;
Kross is just so mid in the ring that I can't get that excited. At least they're actually presenting him like a big deal, though.
And apparently his insertion into this feud with Roman and Drew is because USA wants a world title back on Raw. So I'm guessing Drew wins the Raw title at the Castle in some kind of triple threat (or maybe Roman defends twice?) and goes back to Raw.
Raw is in Cleveland on Monday, though. Time for Johnny Wrestling.

By domino Go To Postlol they just wrote Ezekiel off. Elias concerts coming byke soon thank god. Also served to re-establish Owens as a vicious heel and not a comedy act. That's good writing right there.
Really good episode of Raw overall. Tommaso Ciampa vs Bobby Lashley was awesome, and funny enough, I never thought that Ciampa looked too small to be in there with Bobby. They really have to capitalize on how over Lashley is right now, though, and put the Raw title back on him (if such a thing even exists).
If they're going to take a/the title(s) of Roman, I'll assume they'll break them up. Drew gets one and
Karrion Kross gets the other one?

My hunch is that they finagle some triple threat type match with Roman/Drew/Kross (or maybe Roman defends twice at Cardiff) and Drew heads back to Raw with the world title, but Roman retains the Universal.

Triple threat could work.
By Lupercal Go To PostYeah, I can see Roman keeping the "better" title sure. Triple threat could work.A triple threat was apparently the USA Network pitch. They also evidently asked H for an interim title on Raw, unhappy that they haven't had a top champ on their network for, like, the whole year. Doesn't sound like the latter is happening, but I don't think they inserted Kross into this current Roman/Drew story for nothing.
Drew's been getting a bit of a push so him getting beat by Kross for the title out of nowhere would really kill off his momentum while he's this over.
Especially on homeground (I know he's from Scotland but still, I expect 1/3 of the crowd being Scottish.
Maybe it's Drew v Roman and Kross interferes to help beat Roman.
Starting a feud with Roman and Drew is free to take on new challengers.

Remember when Dustin and Cody bled and it was an awesome moment? or the Britt Baker spot?
Moxley has completely ruined the signifigance of blood in matches. And I say that as someone who loves deathmatch wrestling.

I don't mind him bleeding but it should be with a reason.
I think he bled once for getting thrown out of the ring.
He's still my champ though

My favorite New Generation gimmick. Shame he never feuded with Undertaker just to listen to him and Bearer teeing off on each other.

Damn, the beginning of Dynamite was cut off on Fite, I start the episode and Brody's already sporting a bloody mask.
Resubbed to WWE network a few weeks ago and gradually been going through early to mid 00's PPVs.
I don't think I ever gave Kurt Angle enough credit. The man was an utter genius in the ring and a brilliant promo. Just watched his match Vs Benoit at the 2003 Rumble. It's utterly brilliant.

By Burt The Samurai Go To Postangle was a fantastic promo, always pulled off the comedy shit too which is remarkableHe was fantastic at comedy. Look at this. Perfection.
Lots of rumours floating about that CM Punk might be leaving AEW and that he went into business for himself last night with his promo on Hangman. Speculation that he was settling a perceived slight from a Page promo a few months ago when they were feuding. Allegedly he made an oblique reference to Punk and Colt Cabana falling out
Allegedly nobody knew he was going to speak about Page, who wasn't even at the show, and there are some who are upset that he called out Hangman and damaged his character.
Also that they think Punk was close to not turning up for Dynamite last night and that the title match is next week because they want to get the title off of him asap in case he decides to quit.
Personally, I think it's a massive work. He seems genuinely happy to be in AEW. But Punk is a prickly enough individual that I can see him blowing up if he thinks people are working against him.

Yeah, in the age of smarks and IWC and all that stuff, you need to pull of something special to work everyone.
He might have some beef with Hangman sure but he's smarter than to pull of a stunt like that.
Hoping for a threeway at All Out.

AEW Spoilers
Moxley beat Punk in under 5 minutes to become undisputed AEW World Champion. I think they're using last week's rumoured unrest and the title squash to turn Punk into their major heel. Lots of stuff going around post Dynamite that the Punk/Hangman situation is based on real life, but they're turning it into a storyline

AEW main belt direction is a mess. Bryan slumming it with the corny ass JAS stuff. Hangman in storyline purgatory rn. Zero effort or care being shown towards the Womens division.
The Death Triangle/United Empire match was hot af tho. and The Acclaimed are getting a title shot so not everything is garbage over there rn. But a lot is.

Yeah, that hyped up reunification match was... something I guess?
Kinda deflating tbh but we'll see where it goes, the rest of Dynomite was great.
I know Rosa was working injured so maybe it's real? She deserved an Emmy for them tears atleast.

Seems like Omega had to give a talk to the AEW roster after Dynamite went off air. Being reported that some wrestlers didn't take it too well.
There's a lot of stories going around about backstage drama in AEW and how certain wrestlers dislike of each other is causing issues on TV. I guess Omega had to tell them to stop acting like children.

By Koko Go To PostHaven't caught up in a while. Did Penta actually got his solo push while Fenix was out?He went Penta Obscuro mode for a while with that awesome gravestone entrance for a bit yeah.
Yeah, although it did take a Deus Ex Mirocus to set it up.
I always thought Dark Order/Best Friends would take the first Trios title anyway, Elite don't need it at the moment.
And maybe upon reading about his massive back injury problem, he's not 100% yet?

By data Go To PostMy favorite aew push right nowYou think he's taking a loss to Starks this weekend?
I think you can stretch this feud a bit more so Hobbs would beat him but if you do it with Factory involvement it makes Hobbs look weak imo
By Lupercal Go To PostYou think he's taking a loss to Starks this weekend?I think Starks should get the w but solely because he knows Hobbs too well. Basically the only reason he wins. Then I think Hobbs should end Hooks streak and go on a rampage just smashing everyone and eventually meeting Wardlow and pinning him (have him wrestler dirty just to keep Wardlow strong but up to that point Hobbs should beat everyone clean and dominantly

The Rey Mysterio A&E vid is great. They might be 'fluffed' since they're working with the E but like they talk about Perro Aguayo's death, so they don't totaly avoid all the messed up stuff. Little less murder porny than Dark Side of the Ring
Punk bringing that Rocky Balboa energy, Kenny & the Bucks looking great, Jungle Boy being serious, Sting bring some of the Joker back, Miro looking badass as always, 4 way for the Women's Championship is going to slap and might be one of the best on the card and Eddie vs Ishiiiiii.
Hobbs v Starks is hyping me most at what they're going to do.
PPV looking stacked as always.

By domino Go To Postthis motherfucking Roman is never losing goddamnIf Cody doesn't do it, they're keeping the belt on Roman until he goes to Hollywood and then he's just gonna relinquish it
