By DY_nasty Go To Posthttps://youtube.com/shorts/yAnBVDJnYp0?feature=shareHe's not wrong. Some guys have gotten so good at what was considered "bad" shots that it has changed how the game is played. Some people like this new version, others don't. And since people imitate success, whichever style ends up most successful is the style more kids will grow up playing.
lol shump but yes
It will be a self-perpetuating cycle until someone breaks the mold and wins chips with their own style. The 90s-2000s was Jordan style iso's and fadeaways, even though no one else could compare. Right now, people are trying to replicate Steph's ridiculousness. I'm not old enough to really say what the style in the 80s was modeled after. It might be difficult because the NBA had just recently merged with the ABA which had a very different style of play.
By Kibner Go To Postim never sure how to feel about this because the global game is growing and so are the international coaching opportunities but good article all the same

What are the sixers going to give up for KD
By Old King Rob Go To PostSixers should trade Embiid and Maxey for KD and KyrieCongrats n8

Hold the fuck on. How old am I? Jesus, did I sleepwalk through an entire decade? Mobley has been out of the league since 2009?
I need water.

Growing up a Knicks fan, I couldn't hate MJ. Even when the Knicks lost, it was still like "fuck yeah, MJ. You're still the greatest."
Barring bad chronic injuries, you should still be able to play terrible defense but decent below-the-rim offense pickup hoops at 47.

According to the source, Brooklyn initially tried to pry both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown from Boston. That proposal went nowhere, of course. The source confirmed recent reports that Brooklyn later shifted its focus to a deal centered on Brown, Marcus Smart, and a massive haul of future first-round draft picks. But the Celtics were not interested.LOL
By n8 dogg Go To PostBrown, Smart and one of the Williams. Do it.
No 😾
I’d play hard ball and just offer Jaylen and the end of the bench/fillers/trade exceptions
KD will be a billionaire so I’m expecting him to “get injured” if he’s not traded, he’s that petty and money don’t matter to him
I wouldn't trade for KD. Dude played 55 games last year and is a threat to tear something at any time, nevermind his attitude.
Brown isn't even in his prime and outplayed Tatum in the finals. And they added Brogdon.
They can run this thing back as built a number of times outside of needing to replace Horford eventually. But if something goes wrong with KD, it's a wrap.

No one should trade for KD because the asking price is too high, and as he has shown throughout his career, he is not making you a finals contender on his own.
By n8 dogg Go To PostGotta say I find retiring jerseys absolutely dumb as fuck.Athletes such as Jackie Robinson and Bill Russell absolutely deserve it. Someone 50 years from now when they wonder why they can't wear 42 or 6, look it up and see the impact these two had is something that I agree with.
34 being retired for the Celtics though? Really?
Nah. People in 50 years should be aspiring to wear the 6 and be as big a legend as those who wore it in the past.
Look at the Celtics for fucks sake. Over 20 retired numbers. There’s only 80 left lads.

i hated late 90s/early 00s jerseys but I guess I might as well embrace it.
It's either that or G-League jerseys like the new Jazz unis

By Old King Rob Go To PostWhy would we want a Plumlee? He’s not even better than Sims and we have Mitch and HartensteinAddition by negative addition? Plumlee is just salary but Obre would be an interesting addition, we desperately need more large wings.
I think one of the things I like most about basketball is of how easy it is to see stylistic differences between players as well as their emotions. In addition to "flashy" moves providing meaningful advantages. Just a fun and interesting sport to watch.
