You'll get used to it.
Next denial is when you realize you could be old enough to be some sort these rookie's father. Good times ahead..

Watching the Clifford/Mitch press conference and Borrego clearly didn't get fired for just the play-in game. Yikes
By DY_nasty Go To PostWatching the Clifford/Mitch press conference and Borrego clearly didn't get fired for just the play-in game. YikesPlz explain.
By Kibner Go To PostPlz explain.Mitch was jumping all over the place regarding the goals of the team last year and the goals of the team this year. There was enough dancing on the initial question that it was just.... not clear.
He was either blaming himself for putting too much pressure on Borrego to win and not play the young guys, or the opposite. It was kinda weird.
By AlphaSnacks Go To PostThe whole Dray rant was pretty epic. Perk's clapback was weak as fuck. LMAOPerk is the most hated because he has played the game. He should know better.
I also think Perk is one of the WORST things that could've possibly happened to ESPN. He seems to be universally disliked as a 'personality' if YouTube and Twitter commentary is any indication.
By masud Go To Post
Mavs Twitter saying this guy is extremely plugged in with the Mavs FO. Might be a done deal.
It's funny how your dad convincing you to play with his team isn't tampering.
By DY_nasty Go To PostOnly thing funny is that the Mavs could have locked him up for the next 4 years for 55 million.
obligatory LOL KNICKS
They better pray that Luka likes BBQ...
By AlphaSnacks Go To PostIt's funny how your dad convincing you to play with his team isn't tampering.i actually don't think his dad had much to do with it. Rick was telling him to go get his money. Jaylen is probably pissed that the Mavs didn't extend him
By AlphaSnacks Go To PostThe whole Dray rant was pretty epic. Perk's clapback was weak as fuck. LMAOHe’s a moron, he isn’t funny, he talks like he has food in his mouth and he was a trash player. I wish they would fire him but ESPN is committed to making him their court jester without understanding anything about why people like Barkley.

Why is Kyrie beefing with Stephen A, what did he say?
Ah I found it
Seems pretty lukewarm take "hey, now you have to earn your next contract lol"

and the last time he got checked for real all that tough guy shit was gone - dude was ready to cry live on air. he's almost as bad as stephen jackson and matt barnes
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostWhy is Kyrie beefing with Stephen A, what did he say?
What didn't SAS say? It's literally the same shit every fucking day:
Box office
Superstar
Brother can ball out
Attraction
etc.
BUT HE'S NOT A TEAM PLAYER!
HE'S UNRELIABLE.
HE'S MISSED 124 GAMES!
ALWAYS HAS EXCUSES!
Stephen A's takes on Kyrie are probably the most played out takes in all of sports, at the moment. It's annoying, already.
stephen a said some wild shit about kyrie picking and choosing what issues he cares about. and like..... yeah kyrie could be a lot more mad than he is tbh
yeah, I think it's a done deal.
Mostly blame this on Donnie Nelson for even doing that weird deal that led him to being an unrestricted free agent. I'm still not sure how that worked. I guess Nico could have given him the extension, but honestly it kinda made sense to see how he could have played this year. They could have also given him the extension before new years I think, but chose not to (the team was garbage before new years so, again made sense).
By diehard Go To PostWe can't have a head coach that is younger than me. Can't be. Won't allow it.
Imagine how Mike Conley feels.
By DY_nasty Go To PostI gotta wonder what Dallas does next. That's a huge loss.Might as well trade Luka to the Pels for a bunch of picks and the rooks from last season.
By joefu Go To PostIt was rumored that they didn't want to extend him during the season because then he couldn't be traded and they wanted to keep that door open. And they wonder why he's walking now...

By DY_nasty Go To PostI gotta wonder what Dallas does next. That's a huge loss.Grabbing Dinwiddie helped a bunch. Pretty sure Dragic is coming here as well (hopefully for the vet min), but he's kinda washed I'm pretty sure. 10-15mpg from him should be fine?
I think regular season they won't feel the hurt of losing Brunson too much. Think they have enough firepower with THJ coming back and a real NBA starting center on the team.
By DY_nasty Go To PostDragic is omega washed
then it's Jaden Hardy's time to shine lmao.
Wonder who they can grab with the TP-MLE though. Nobody ever wants to play in Dallas, I'm sure having Luka changes nothing.
By masud Go To Posti actually don't think his dad had much to do with it. Rick was telling him to go get his money. Jaylen is probably pissed that the Mavs didn't extend himlol Please...
The timing of the hire is too suspect. Rick
was hired to bring his son to the team.
By Kibner Go To PostMight as well trade Luka to the Pels for a bunch of picks and the rooks from last season.sounds goot to me.
losing Brunson sucks for the Mavs but i wouldn't want him for that amount of $.
should've locked him up for cheap when they had the chance.
i always thought he will go to the knicks. i mean why not if you can be a starter in new york over a backup in dallas.

By blackace Go To Postlol Please…Eh I don't think so. Rick has been on Thibs staffs multiple times in the past and he's been unofficially working with the Knicks since Rose got here. He trained Obi Toppin last summer.

It's too much money for a player who's coming off of 1 good season. That 4th year better be a team option.

The saddest part about what SAS wrote is the people responding saying he wrote too much and they can't read all of that...
People are really complaining about 2 paragraphs? Wtf. I remember complaining about having to write 2 paragraphs...but I was in the 3rd grade.
By DiPro Go To Postknicks twitter is not exactly happy with this either lolKnicks fans don’t want anyone that isn’t a rookie and costs more than 10 million
By DiPro Go To Postknicks twitter is not exactly happy with this either lolKnick fans are fucking losers... 90% of the angst is due to the fact that they want to start Quickley because if he starts this year he's going to be an All-Star point guard and if he doesn't he's going to be a bench player for the rest of his career.
