I know it is a huge if, but do people think the Lakers miss the playoffs if all three were healthy for the whole season?

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostI know it is a huge if, but do people think the Lakers miss the playoffs if all three were healthy for the whole season? You're phrasing this like big three of Lakers being injured is an aberration not the norm.
When has AD EVER been healthy for a whole season? You should stop expecting him to be.
Lebron is also old as hell and his injuries are also more likely to be common.
If you're holding out for an injury free season you'll never get. And also, other, just as injured teams, still made the playoffs.

I am not gonna pretend like I know his injury history while on the Pelicans, but all his Lakers injuries seem down to just bad luck. Nasty falls.
I don’t expect them all to be healthy next season, I legit just wondered if people thought they would miss the playoffs if they could give you a healthy season.

and knowing how to fall, protect yourself, etc is a skill too. fluke shit can happen, but AD definitely never looked at basketball like a fulltime gig
AD's injuries were 50/50 on bad luck (like getting concussed by a teammate's elbow) and his own relatively fragile body (or maybe just refusing to play through pain; hard to tell with him).
A "healthy" season for AD with no load management is ~65-70 out of 82 games.

Keep in mind that AD once missed significant time because he broke his hand from dunking too hard. And this was when he was still on his rookie contract, iirc!
AD is clumsy as fuck that’s half his problem
At a certain point it ain’t bad luck the dude has zero body awareness and his moves while impressive are reckless

Christian Laettner, you fucks.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostI agreed with everything said.keep hoping.
I really hope he is in the gym right now working on his fitness.
That seems like a lot of people to have in an interview? Also, why is Kurt Rambis ever involved in anything?

One of Daniels Sochan or Eason pls. I'm good with Duren or Williams too if we're letting Mitch go (better be a sign and trade)
Former Michigan State star Adreian Payne was shot and killed in Orlando, Florida, early Monday morning, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Payne, who was the 15th pick by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2014 NBA draft, was 31.
Oof
Not sure how to feel about this. He’s probably the most gettable “big game” player but I also already expect Anfernee to be a younger version of him, so…
Guess if you love 3 guard nuclear offense no defense lineups this one at least makes a bit more sense than Norm Powell at SF
By Branduil Go To PostI honestly have no idea what Portland is trying to do now.
Build a contender around Dame while simultaneously (more important) developing a new generation of stars around Anfernee and this year’s lottery pick. Similar to the Warriors couple of gap years out of the playoffs.
I expect the goal is absorb a star-ish forward into their 20 mil TPE, plug the other F spot with MLE, high draft pick F and whatever bench C they can afford should about do it.
