By n8 dogg Go To Post4th highest USG in the league at 33.3 (although I guess you could argue out of necessity).
Goes back to being the only person on the team who can create.
yeah that series with the heat really made it clear that delon wright can't be your next best ball handler. there's a lot to like about huerter but he's not putting the ball on the floor in any way that matters.

KD in the pacific teaming up with the hated suns going against defending champ golden state and kyrie reunited with lebron in LA doing the same? Adam silver is going to throw his viagra away
Oh hey, numbers on what would happen if Kyrie opted out and took the MLE and then was able to sign a max extension:
Also, he would have to take less than the max even if AD was the only person on the Lakers because the cap hold on all the roster spots as well as LeBron's cap hold (which still exists, even if he hasn't extended/re-signed).

By unknown Go To PostNo he isn't, if anything the opposite since he has a mind of his own. Also that tweet is full of shit since he was a big part on why Cleveland won a chip.Imagine falling for this😂
By n8 dogg Go To PostI’m fairly zen about the proceedings, to be quite honest with you. Coming from football, one of the things I fucking HATE about that sport is player power and how they can down tools, refuse to play, force moves, etc. Maybe that makes me sound like a capitalist scumbag who is against workers rights, lol. But sport is different. When you sign a contract, you’re also signing one with the hearts and hopes and dreams of a fan base. So if I’m not allowed to turn up to my job without repercussions, you shouldn’t be as a millionaire throwing or kicking a ball around when people’s emotions are at stake.I disagree with this in general. I mean, only in sports do teams and fans expect totally loyalty while giving none in return. The way the Celtics did IT2 to get Kyrie is a perfect example of that.
It seems - rightly or wrongly - the Nets are pushing back a little bit against the player power era. Kyrie makes 35 million dollars a year. In the last two years, he’s gone awol for no reason and been seen at birthday parties, and he’s been absent because of Covid rules: myopic rules given other players could play and he couldn’t, sure, but ultimately he’s been unreliable. What do the Nets do if there’s another Covid wave and mandate?
Only in sport can someone underachieve at their job so much and be rewarded with such riches. The fact he’s looking for an out instead of trying to show he is worth whatever contract he is looking for shows me he isn’t ultimately worth it. Not worth the hassle.
Still, totally different Nets than I was used to the last two years lol. Went from just getting to know Allen and Levert to feeling like I was being spoiled every week with the big three. Now it looks like there’ll be none left. All I need is Harris and Brown and I’m happy m8s.
Now that doesn't mean that Kyrie isn't being a fuckhead with his actions, and definitely deserves the smoke.

btw Is it you or N8 that's winning the Collins sweepstakes?

I have a lot of out of pocket things to say about that statement but I'm just gonna leave it at I'm happy to have one more year of KD.
By masud Go To PostThe Nets still need to trade him right? Or is it worth it to run in back with Ben?My guess is they see how it plays out and worst case they dump him off at the deadline (hopefully he doesn't fake an injury).

By DY_nasty Go To Postadd cp3 to the list of ppl that shouldn't be allowed anywhere near benhe might send him back to therapy?
LOL @ people thinking ANYONE would give up tens of millons of dollars just to fail under more pressure in LA
Kyrie would’ve been a dummy to opt out
He’ll get traded by the deadline
Then sign in LA with LeBron with SHOOKbrook’s $$$$$ and get his Nike contract back and retire in 3 years

Lol okc more desirable to play for rookies than Orlando
According to Jeremy Woo of Sports Illustrated, the 7-foot center tanked his visit with the Magic. Between leaving his workout earlier and barely putting his skills on display, Holmgren made it clear he didn’t want to play for the Magic.

OKC makes the most sense, a white American lottery pick in a small market? He's gonna have endorsement deals out the ass there even if he sucks and if he's a star, man listen. Only place better for him would have been Utah.

goddamn right

The league's fucked.
It's not even July yet, you can make me believe body transformations until August at the earliest
Nobody said anything in here about Stephen Jackson being the corniest dude out? I'm glad I never watched or listened to his corny ass podcast and that Kwame murdered him and exposed him.
Lamest shit I seen in a minute.
