That doesn't sound right at all. I can understand trepidation to do that in games, but if he hasn't run full speed in an empty gym by this point...wtf?

Particularly if you've never had a big injury before. it's just a huge hurdle.
He wasn't really going to come back full throttle this season anyway.

Perfect hire because they won't be on TV and we won't have to see nor hear him in any capacity

Good luck to anyone if they expect a playoff bid anytime soon. West will be brutal next year with guys back.

You do not understand the power of NBA TV
By reilo Go To Postdiehard don't read
By diehard Go To PostEhhh that's old news
Super old.
Also hilarious, cause Mitchell got fuckn exposed by Dallas.
That said, quoting yes men (inner circles) isn't going to be a great source.

I don't really buy that any NBA team loses money and don't really care if they do anyway. They're not real businesses and they all use Hollywood accounting to get handouts from city and state governments.
By DiPro Go To Posteven if they do the value of the franchise is going up.Yeah, for a bunch of businesses that are allegedly failing and losing money, franchise values are skyrocketing to the point that even the Timberwolves are worth $1.5 billion, TV contracts continue to balloon, and there's a line of people trying to get expansion clubs.

I mean seriously
"We're not making money! Help us!! We need your tax dollars for the love of god!!!!"
Forbes: franchise value went up .4 billion in the past year
Didn’t Ballmer claim he was losing money on the Clippers yet his net worth went up 600 million or some shit
Nvm I have that way off. He claimed one year he only made 600 million and is able to claim he’s losing money so he only pays 13% tax

By DiPro Go To Postjust looked at the magic's draft history over the last 10 years. yikes.John Hammond prioritized (maybe still does???) lengthy athletes above all else. I don't remember if the previous GM, Rob Hennigan, had the same preference.
I am pouring out one for my dogs in Sactown. Got fucked by the league versus the Lakers, for damn sure. I'm down with the Kings.
Y'all don't remember Dumars being very publicly let go after giving all that money to Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva?
Wolves reporter for The Athletic says that they're "exploring all their options" re: Russell. They are not interested in signing him to an extension that is anywhere near a max (which is what he and his camp want) and Gupta does not view Russell as the same type of player that Rosas did.
Who knows if/when anything happens, but it seemed pretty obvious when Finch thought the dude was unplayable in an elimination game.

And Tsai had to put in 30M of his own money.
But no one believes he's doing badly financially out of it. The article was mildly interesting in showing off some of Tsai's personality, and how badly a lot of stuff is run / planned in sports.
By masud Go To PostIt pains me to say this since she's from Harlem but Mo Bamba is fuckin trash.lol what
near double double in under 30 minutes, shooting 38% from 3 on a decent volume, puts his hands upwards generally and not in foul hell?
cut the check now mitch
Sub 50% from the field (sub 60% from 2) for a center is not great. Plus he's soft, frail, and has a low iq? I'm good

it makes too much sense
its hard to imagine a worse situation than being buried on the bench for years by senile clifford, then having to wait for the ball between jackasses like cole anthony, suggs, wish.com fultz, gary harris, ross, rj, etc. that's probably the worst rotation of me first ball handlers in the entire league
its not like he was the only one screwed over by them either. franz was having a really impressive rookie season too but even red blaster couldn't stomach watching their best player get frozen out anymore

Don't disagree but sometimes ho8ng to a bad franchise just puts ypu so many years behind in development you never catch up.
Thanks Magic!
