You can't close out hard on Maxey cause he just blows by you, and if you don't close out hard he's hitting a three.

No one wanted to believe me
By Moris Go To PostNo MPJ or Murray really sucks the fun out of this.
Starting 5 was
Jokic,
Jeff Green in 2022,
Aaron Gordon,
Monte "how the fk is he a .395 3pt shooter I've never seen him hit a 3" Morris
Will Barton.
Jokic is such a hard carry to get that team to a 6th seed.
By domino Go To PostJokic gonna accept his mvp on his couchas does everyone since they give it out in the off season during that award show no one watches.
Raptors were underwhelming. Didn’t force any turnovers; very unlike them. Felt like the narrative was in their favour. Now they’ve been reminded that no, actually Embiid is Embiid and Harden is Harden and Maxey is there too, they might be able to play harder.
Warriors just too deep for Nuggets. Jokic found Gordon and Rivers and Morris well and they could not capitalise. He can’t win a playoff series by himself.

Catching up on the end of the 1st half . Jokic is too good but he needs help. You can’t guard him 1on1. Usually there’s a risk in double teaming but you’re probably better off doing that against the Nuggets cuz everyone on this team sucks.

I know Koko blames Malone but I’m not sure what anyone could do with that roster. If they could score, Jokic would have 20 assists per game. They need to start capitalizing
Basketball is a million times more enjoyable watching it recorded. Skipping commercials, foul shots, and the 10 minutes they spend reviewing obvious shit really cuts these games down.

100%. Watching basketball at 7 in the morning is a fucking blessing, honestly.
Although Nets are on at 8:30pm here tonight so will watch live.
I don't think I could ever go back to watching live. They spend about a minute for foul shots, which obviously starts to add up. There were 42 free throws in the Warriors game last night so that's about 20 minutes (assuming each trip to the line is 2 fts and slightly accounting for and 1s/3s). Not so bad, but the Minnesota game had 70 FTs attempted which probably added another 30 minutes.

It lasted nearly three hours because of all the free throws and whistles.
I’d say they need to figure out what to do with free throws since it adds so much time, but that’s intended because that’s extra advertising time as if 3 minute commercial breaks isn’t enough already.

Who is Nate Duncan?
Realised John Hollinger had a podcast so went to listen to it, and it’s co-hosted by Duncan.
Listened to their NBA coach rankings and I expected the guy who used to run the Grizzlies to talk more, but Duncan spoke for at least 80% of the time. Is he an ex exec or something? Google isn’t helping.
Also, I learned nothing from it :lol. They kept talking about Carlisle or Lue’s playoff adaptations, Rivers’ inability to, Snyder’s regular season great comparatively to his playoffs… but they didn’t once mention what those adaptations were!

I think he was a lawyer that got into cap Geekery that started trying to do scouting stuff and blog/podcast about it.
