I kinda think breaking the bank for Rice would make some sense.
Your team has been in desperate need for a player of his quality, in that position, for about twelve years. Feel like there's basically no chance that he'd flop.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostPlease don't ruin Rice. Isn't it bad enough what you did to Sancho? He was never good under Southgate. Can't blame that peno miss on us.
By Laboured Go To PostWhat if we got a CM that fully suited ETH's style of play and for less money?I thankfully have no faith in your set-up to find that player, not this summer anyway. An improvement on McTominay and Matic, sure. Good enough in the long term, nah.
Hadn't really thought about the kind of deep CM Ten Hag prefers. Think Rice has the fundamentals to fit into basically any set-up though, even if he'd rather have a De Jong.

I mean you're probably right, but it's nice to want things.
Sancho need to go do gym. Breh is physically lacking and his cardio is terrible. He needs to add some explosion to his game or he is going to continue to drift in this league.
Bernardo and then City boys may be technicians but they are also dynamic as fuck.

I feel like Elanga has also performed well under Rangnick. He's still very raw and needs much improvement in his technique and decision making.
But he's one of the few players that seems to have gotten the message about pressing and the need to close off passing lanes. He has won the ball back multiple times this season and his pressing led to goals scored.

By Crusher Go To PostYou haven’t been watching the games if you think Sancho is performing.
He was lightweight as anything last night. He had an opportunity to break down the left and Trent just wandered over and effortlessly nudged him off the ball.
Lad has zero strength, which is pretty much useless if you have aspirations to do anything in this league aside from occasionally scrape 4th.
A club of United stature shouldn't settle for "bargains" or "FM scout finds", the fans deserve the best in class names. Rice and Kane are no brainers, both the finest England* has to offer.

By BlindCom Go To PostHaaland to City means guaranteed quadruple for them for the next few seasons. Pep missed out on Kane and Ronaldo but he knows Haaland is the final piece of the jigsaw.Pep doesn't know how to use actual strikers in his system tho
