I've said it before and I'll say it again
Every. Single. Defender. (Except Araujo, and maybe Pique). Can go.
Sucks that we struggle so much without Pedri. Out for who knows how long smh. Feels like when we were reliant on 19 year old Messi

I wonder if Palace might go for Garner as a loan next season, assuming that is indeed the next stage for his development.
It's very refreshing how Rangnick can cut through the bullshit and say how United can become successful again if they just develop a playing style and recruitment structure based on signings players who fit that style.
They'll need investment and must ignore the signings which drive engagement. They're the two biggest issues. The Glazers don't want to invest a penny more than necessary and want the big name signings.

barca looks halfway respectable again in like 1 window w/ Xavi. it's still a work in progress but you can see where they are trying to go.
no faith in us being shrewd enough on incomings or cutthroat enough on outgoings to make that happen though

Xavi looks promising indeed, straight changed them.
Comparing him with Arteta and you see how awful he has been for us. He has had 7 windows, spent hundreds of millions of pounds and will fail yet again on achieving the bare minimum for Arsenal. Twice finished 8th and I wouldn't be surprised if we get close to that again. If he was manager of any other top 6 club, he would have been sacked ages ago.
Please get rid asap.

He's going to fail the medical
I think haaland will be a goal machine wherever he goes so long as he stays fit.. which who knows how that will go
Maybe i'm wrong but Haaland and Nunez seem like similar strikers. Both probably not as good technically on the ball but strong finishers.
Basically Lukaku 2.0

Yes I'm sure playing Bruno and Pogba up front will work this time. Any day now.
We are going to get utterly dismantled. I'm willing to bet that the scoreline will be so bad it will somehow over-shadow all of our other bad results and performances this season. But in a way we need it.

Sounds like Nunez's second half of the season has simply been too good for us to get him in the summer. Shame.
Also sounds like Toney is up the list in terms of possible other striker targets, I'd take that I think he's been pretty great this season. 12 goals is a good return for his first real season in the PL but I think his overall play has been very good.

It’s exactly the kind of situation where we do poorly in: when we’re put up against a struggling team for which we would represent a transformative win.
We get complacent, we turn off the gas, we play like we’re protecting a 5-0 lead when it’s 0-0.
Hoping that isn’t the case this time

Fred and McTominay are both absent for this game iirc. We've essentially no chance of winning. Both players may have massive holes in their skill sets, but they're the only players we have that can even come close to matching the intensity of Liverpools.
Some interesting stuff in here. Like that he's super honest and knows we need more a clear out/rebuild. Sounds like he's already been advising the board on certain things and highlights our struggle in other areas of the club compared to those at the top atm.
In terms of the players he's mentioned to the board I believe Nkunku is one.
Also agree with DDG being upgraded on depending on how the manager wants to play. You aren't playing out the back possession football with De Gea.

Exactly this. Vader Gegen will dash his young son's hopes tonight. If shonen manga ever taught us anything, it's never bet against deadbeat dad who traveled the world to pursue their dreams. Can't beat the OG really.
Think it's going to be 0-3. Rangnick's appointment has led to this exact moment.

For the record, not meant to be a shitty joke.
The circumstances of his absence doesn't mean it doesn't change the dynamic of the game, I think Liverpool away is probably the fixture that current Ronaldo would be least effective in the PL calendar.
