Norwich actually sacked Farke after they beat Brentford too...
Good thing we faced Burnley already though and maybe that means Big Sam gets there before Neverton hire him again.
Matic was a very good player at his best and at times played well for us. But his legs went a few years ago and he couldn't play two games per week. Could barely play 70 minutes a game either.

Cant all find as fitting owners as Newcastle. Big sad.

Just caught the Dyche news. Think that’s very bad for them. From what it seems, the new owners have done fucking nothing positive and have left Dyche take the flack for zero support in regards to his squad. Bought in December 2020 and have bought Collins, Cornet and Weghorst for 12m each and sold Wood for 25m.

Wait, do the Saudis punch horses too?!

Pray for Hixx. I don't want him to have to go through another Play-Off final loss (potentially)
By Xpike Go To PostDyche being sacked is essentially suicide, the Burnley board is insaneReminds me of when Blackburn sacked Big Sam.

Di Marzio doesn’t seem very reliable these days but he claims CFG are interested in acquiring Palermo. Welcome to the fold, friends.

Wooden doesn't need this right now
Wooden has to either stop supporting Chelsea and support City instead, or he has to stop suporting Palermo. 'Tis the terrorists' law.

but a win on Monday and it's time to start looking at transport to Wembley to watch us lose there.
what the fuck is cfg
not like it matters much anyway, cant even watch their matches these days, and due to Italy being Italy that stadium is never getting an upgrade or a new ground.

By Cleff Go To PostHe's doing God's work.Yeah. Whether the club wants to or not, with Matic, Mata, Pogba, and probably Lingard leaving, we need at least two new midfielders. While I am sure ETH doesn't want full control of dealings at the club, it is obvious to anybody watching that this squad is so out of balance and needs major surgery. I am sure he pointed this out in his interview. Even last season when we were decent, I never full confidence in our football. There was no repeatable patterns that one can recognize in our play, even if we did play some good football occasionally. That's why when we were at the top of the table early last year, it never felt like we could hold on to it. This season it has all come crashing down. Right from the second game against Soton it was obvious that things weren't right.

Appointing Ole was a mistake that really set us back to where we are today. Not out of any desire to see us crash and burn. I believe he had the best for the club at heart, but making him the permanent manager after the toxicity and turgid football of Mourinho and LVG respectively. Ole's entire transfer strategy basically amounted to looking for a good player in a position where we needed one irrespective of their suitability to a football philosophy. That's because we had none, other than a vague playing "the Utd way" whatever that means.
There is so much more to say about all of this, especially the fact that we have spent about as much money on recruitment as City and even when we have beat them we never did so by out playing them, and it never seemed like we were anywhere near their and Liverpool's level.
Sorry for the rant but I truly hope that next season marks a change for the better. A new coach in ETH with a proper identity and what looks like a new administrative structure/footballing organization. Hopefully things starts to get better next season.
