n8 is still in for Tuanzebe despite the lad never doing much (except for that one game against PSG).
Sack the attention seeker immediately imo. Vader Gegen my ass, can tell he has no idea what heavy metal actually is. Ralf just keeps sullying the club reputation in press conferences, soon he'll be shouting "Glazers out" while wearing a Masturbinho kit.
Promote Fletcher to first team manager, he has the right DNA then make him ETH's assistant so that he can learn and hopefully eventually lead United back to the glory days.

Goalkeepers
De Gea is still an excellent shot stopper, but he will restrict our ability to play both more progressive passing football and proactive pressing football (henceforth known as the Four Ps of Penetration) because he isn’t good enough at starting attacks and isn’t strong enough as a sweeper keeper. I don’t think there’s many better six-yard-box goalies in the world; trouble is, his limitations mean our defence and midfielders need to regularly position themselves 5-10 yards deeper, starting attacks further away from the opposition goal and inviting pressure. Henderson is better with his feet, but not so much that he is an improvement on De Gea. Ultimately, he is younger and cheaper and more capable of being coached.
Verdict: Sell one of the two - preferably De Gea. Keep the other to start; look towards a new keeper in a year or two.
Full Backs
The two that started today shouldn’t be starting for any team with Champions League aspirations. Wan-Bissaka is never going to convince as an attacking full back, but is good back up. Shaw is good, and builds strong relationships with whoever his left winger is. Disappointing season after the last couple, though.
Verdict: Sell Dalot and Telles. Bring Laird and Williams back from loan and see what they’re made of. Move for a right back.
Centre Backs
I maintain that Harry Maguire is not a diabolical defender, and indeed can be a very good one, but he has had an awful year and needs a reset. Bailly and Jones need to go, Varane needs to sort himself out, and we need someone to provide real competition to Maguire so he isn’t automatically playing.
Verdict: Sell Bailly and Jones. Bring Tuanzebe back from loan and see what he’s made of. Move for a centre back.
Central Midfielders
Fred is a good squad player to have, and has been one of the only bright sparks this season. McTominay is severely limited; we won’t sell him, but he should be fourth choice at best. I hope Garner gets some game time instead of a PL loan; he looks ready. And VdB has the perfect coach for a fresh start (although I don’t think he’ll get there, I’m willing to give him a chance). We still need at least one centre midfielder who doesn’t panic on the ball and who can sit deep and initiate play; Rice is ideal but would cost a severe amount. Throwing incredibly envious looks at Liverpool having Fabinho AND Thiago.
Verdict: Get rid of Matic, Pogba and Mata. Bring Van de Beek and Garner back from loan and see what they’re made of. Give Hannibal more game time. Move for at least one centre midfielder.
Attacking Midfielders
Bruno is good enough and has produced enough he should be starting for the club. Sancho will be better with more time and a more defined role. Rashford needs a break and to get back to trying to prove himself rather than take his place for granted. I can see the argument for buying someone else here, but with those three and Elanga, as well as the likes of Garnacho and Pellestri, it should only come after CM and ST are sorted.
Verdict: Get rid of Lingard. Bring Pellestri back from loan and see what he’s made of. Give Garnacho more game time. If money left over, move for a right winger.
Striker
I’d be surprised to see someone come in for Ronaldo, but I wouldn’t be shocked. I’ll work under the assumption he’ll do one more year. (even if I’d rather he went). We need someone mobile, capable of dropping deep, pressing, stretching play… oh Harry, why couldn’t you be 5 years younger and 100m cheaper? Not sure what to do with Martial; I’d be inclined to see what Ten Hag makes of him
Verdict: Get rid of Cavani and Greenwood. Bring Martial back from loan. Move for a striker.
Outgoings
De Gea, Dalot, Telles, Bailly, Jones, Matic, Mata, Pogba, Lingard, Cavani, Greenwood (+ potentially Ronaldo)
I’d be surprised to see both full backs sold, and Henderson is more likely to leave, but that’d be my list.
So our squad next year should look like:
Henderson (Heaton)
New RB (Wan Bissaka/Laird)
Varane (Lindelof/Tuanzebe)
Maguire (New CB)
Shaw (Williams)
New CM (Garner)
Fred (Van de Beek)
Fernandes (Hannibal)
Sancho (New RW/Garnacho)
New ST (Martial)
Rashford (Elanga)
Dependent on who those signings are, that’s a good enough squad for top 4. I think Chelsea are vulnerable this off-season; work needed at CB and CM, and a new owner. Arsenal’s squad isn’t vastly different than ours quality wise, and while Conte is brilliant and Spurs have some really strong players in their first team, Levy won’t spend too much.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens to Ronaldo in the summer.
The man loves the Champions League and I am sure expanding his goalscoring record on the competition is one of his main objectives for the last few years of his career.
Staying at United would mean another year without fighting for titles but no one besides PSG would be willing to pay him stupid wages and even them are probably not that interested.

By Cleff Go To PostThis one is a major issue as well. They need to go do gym like I said.
Rangnick clearly altered his tactics after the Crystal Palace game. We ran out of steam after an impressive first half pressing performance. He tried to then get us to press upon certain tactical instances but we soon stopped doing that too. The players gave up and we really started floundering after that.
Keep it coming Ralf

Lol.
This Arsenal team have let me down countless times, it will take probably an EPL title (LUL) to make me optmistic about it. I dont trust them.
More or less like Hitch and most Liverpool fans in here, that today are confident cunts, but 5 years ago were as pessimist as myself if not worse.
And that's ok. Some people are deluded, optmistic, pessimist or realist. I'd rate myself as something between pessimist and realist.

In terms of natural talent, KDB and Bruno aren't that far apart.
But KDB has better positional awareness, ball retention and close control.
Product of better coaching.

Like, I get that it's cathartic for someone in a position of power at the club to call a spade a spade, but his tenure has been absolutely diabolical.
Even Ole was able to get moments of brilliance at times, whereas Rolf has offered... nothing.
Tbf Ralf isn’t really a coach. He’s there to overhaul the club and modernise it which is what they’ve needed to do since Fergie left really.

Context changes though, doesn’t it? Ole got results under Covid football and very little since. Or got results without Ronaldo changing his gameplan, literally weeks after stating he wants an interchangeable energetic young side. Ole got results before Shaw, Maguire and Rashford all had annus horribilis. Ole got results before the squad downed tools, got thumped by Liverpool and City and Watford.
Rangnick’s time coaching has been bad. Simple as that. I won’t beat around the bush.
And yet, from the sounds of it, he’s been faced by players who could not accept home truths, who moaned about Mourinho then were given free rides by Ole for two years, then moaned about him too. The culture at United since Ferguson left has been established that what matters is stars selling t-shirts. The basic squad are good enough ability wise that they’re not terribly far off Arsenal having their best season in five years and Spurs with one of the top 10 coaches in the world, and that’s with two failed coaches. What they need is an attitude change.
That's what I mean though, n8.
Top 4 was absolutely there for the taking. Arsenal and Spurs are within touching distance despite this being your worst season in living history. I can't help but think that if you had a decent coach, it would be yours. And perhaps with better performances too.
The players are without doubt a disgrace, but I don't think post-Ole had to be like this.

Sure. Rangnick has failed in that aspect. But getting too four would have papered over cracks that needed to exposed. If Rangnick had to fail as a coach to get that, so be it.
We've seen what Ralf can do when the players listen - the 40 mins against CP showed that.
but he'ss been banging on about the physical conditioning of the squad as weak forever - thats why he dropped the 4-2-2-2 these losers cant play it.
He's been in Auditing mode for the last 3 months. His findings are damning.
