By Vini.lad Go To PostWouldnt mind having Jesus as an optionHe was scoring a lot of goals early in the season but he is such a confidence player.. I would say he could be a lead striker potentially as long as he got to continually play. I think he's been pretty effective as a winger so if he moves back to that position permanently for you, there's still a lot to be said about his ability there.
But if he's gonna be our main striker, yikes.
He has been very fringe for us lately and it shows. I think he'd be a good piece at least. I suspect he'll be pretty cheap (30-40m) so there will be money to go after another striker if that's the target.
Jesus would be a good signing but I think we still need another striker who isn't a midget that's able to hold up the ball and get on the end of crosses.
By Laboured Go To PostApparently we're already in talks for a "young Premier League striker". Not even sure who that would be.United in for Nketiah.

By Laboured Go To PostGah, he just cannot resist the siren call of El Manchester.
David Moyes and the lot should take a reality check and realize they are West Ham.

Rice is probably one of the few English players that I wouldn't call underrated, they have a good chance of playing Champions League football next season and he is irreplaceable for them.

Declan Rice is too good for Manchester United. I’d hate to see him ruined there.
I think Jesus would be a good signing for Arsenal assuming the fee is reasonable (<£30m).
With new Salah quotes today, it's just reminded me that Salah/Firmino/Mane are all 29/30 and out of contract next summer. Oof.

Interesting. It'll be the final year of his contract so the fee won't be huge in general, but if we're selling to another PL club there will be a bit of a premium than if it were outside England.
i sincerely hope this isn't true.
I'd be concerned about any player that's agreed to join us regardless of whether we're in the CL. That surely has to be part of the litmus test that we've not applied in the past.
My bois are convinced that Mount is the worst out of Foden, Saka, and Smith-Rowe. Anti-Chelsea bias is rife in society.
By Lego Go To PostYeah if anyone agrees to join us that’s a red flag. We should only sign players who refuse to come.
Exactly.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostMy bois are convinced that Mount is the worst out of Foden, Saka, and Smith-Rowe. Anti-Chelsea bias is rife in society.Saka and Smith-Rowe have elevated an average Arsenal squad, Foden still is able to shine on that is probably the best team in the world right now.
I don't see how your boys are wrong.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostSaka and Smith-Rowe have elevated an average Arsenal squad, Foden still is able to shine on that is probably the best team in the world right now.All good players of course. It's close in terms of goalscoring but Mount dominates in just about every other stat, especially assists, tackles, chances created, averages almost a goal and assist every 90 minutes, and is a pressing machine. Fair enough if they prefer the others for whatever reason but I'm not crazy for thinking Mount is the best out of the lot.

We simply must keep Rangnick on as consultant when he finishes up as manager. He's the only person in the hierarchy at United that has willingly pointed out the structural problems and suggested workable solutions for them.
