No chance of that though

Reply when you can say something about either of those things.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostBarcelona can't beat the 12th placed team in the Turkish league.True, our fans should storm the next training session and attack our players imo
Unacceptable

Yep. Norwich and Watford nailed on to go down.
Think Leeds will join them tbh. Brentford to survive by the skin of their teeth.
I thought Leeds looked decent at times today in general but even Raphinha offered no threat at all. Unless Bamford really gets going then they're fucked basically. He didn't get any real chances today and looked pretty rusty (understandably).
By Cleff Go To PostLeeds and Everton getting relegated in the same season is the stuff of dreams. What have you got against our boy Farid?
By Batong-curling Go To PostCallum Chambers goal was nice for Villa
It was. That Guimaraes finish was also a lovely bit of technique.
Kind of want it to be Everton just so I can watch the press tie themselves in knots trying not to blame Lampard.

Can't win against a team playing 4 out of 5 reserves up from. π
By Laboured Go To Post"Genuine rival." Just give the damn job to ten Hag so we can all get out "Erik the Red" puns out of the way.
Tbh I'd still rather Pochettino. He's excelled in the PL with two different clubs and has a record of using youth players and improving them. We've a lot of talented academy players who just need a chance.
Think .ETH would be great provided we bomb out the likes of CR7 and buy him the types of players he actually wants.
Legit some of the worst defending ive ever seen (and the goal after is also SHIT), and we got a much better right back.... Yet Ankersen played all 90.

Bring in ten Hag.
Send Ralf upstairs.
Get rid of the likes of Ronaldo, Matic, Jones, Lingard, Pogba, AWB and Mata. That's probably over Β£1m a week in wages freed up, right there.
Let ten Hag tell Ralf who he
Promote youth.
Buy Kane for Β£116m.
By Laboured Go To PostThink .ETH would be great provided we bomb out the likes of CR7 and buy him the types of players he actually wants. He would. It would still take a few seasons for all those signings to be made and for the style of play to become bedded in. I also doubt that'll actually happen. No manager since Ferguson retired has ever actually been given the backing for the squad to be properly rebuilt. ETH will get a few players he wants in his first summer. Get told in his second summer that his main targets are unobtainable and will resign/get sacked in the third season when things get stale because he wasn't backed to clear out the rubbish.
My hope is that Murtough and Fletcher (with maybe some help from Rangnick) actually establish a playing philosophy. That includes appointing coaches and signing players who fit the style. In 5 years time we might actually become good again.
By pulga Go To Postabsolutely seething πππ #theXaviEffectIt's almost as if... You couldn't reply to what I said, just as I predicted lol
You can pretend and meme all you want, but you very clearly avoid talking about or acknowledging your idol being a rapist or the fact that you used to(or do?) support Juve.
^doesnt qualify for the list, too one sided π

Both ainβt happy buddy
Whilst Poch is my preferred choice for manager, there's a very solid arguement to be made that the players should be told to get fucked. Stay clear of whomever they want.
The atmosphere around the club is so poisonous though, that if ETH is hired and we struggle to adapt to his tactics immediately, we'll start hearing stories of how the players have doubts about how good he actually is as a coach. Eredivisie isn't a top calibre league etc etc.

"One player said it's obvious why he failed in a lower level league like Ligue 1" etc., and so forth, ad infinitum.
Yeah they'd turn on Poch just as soon as any other coach that's not to their liking. Complacency that began at board level has seeped into the playing side.
Pochettino at Spurs was renowned for how incessantly he drilled his players. Wouldn't be surprised if our squad complained about how hard they were being worked.
Really, our biggest hope is that the 4-5 players out of contract and the few who'll hopefully be sold, are the ones who are also the biggest problems behind the scenes. Would give Ten Hag/Poch/Tuchel(?) The best chance to actually make positive change.

Would love if there was a clear out and rebuild, but I doubt it. The club is just as awful at selling players as it is with buying them.

Identifying and getting rid of the shitheads will be one of the most important things, and I have precisely zero confidence in the club having the acumen to do it.
As much as I hate to say it, Henderson needs to go as well. We've made an utter balls up of our goalkeeper situation. As good as De Gea has been this season he should've been moved on from by now.
As things stand we've a young(ish) keeper just rotting on the bench. Could've sold him for like Β£40m after his loan at Sheffield United. Instead he gets a huge new contract, essentially never plays and is probably one of the sources of all the stories you read about United player discontent.
We've a lot of unhappy players, being paid a fortune to do nothing and they're kicking up a fuss about it.
Club is run by morons.
