AM have been very good, and they don't normally press this well. I reckon they've won nearly every tackle they've attempted. Add our shocking performance on top and.... yeah.
Our midfield has been utterly monstered by Atletico. Bruno is playing slightly deeper to try and help Fred, but his biggest issue as a player is his lack of patience and questionable press resistance. Against Atleticos press he's coughing up so much possession and it's putting us under pressure. It isn't solving the problem of ball progression from midfield. It's just making it worse.
What we're left with is our back 4 trying to dictate the tempo, Atletico incessantly pressing and none of our midfielders offering the out ball to relieve pressure.
