Not much danger in Saka leaving this summer. He's only 20 and is at the right club that will give him plenty of minutes and shield him if he's performing poorly.

When Rooney moved to United he was leaving a side which had finished 17th. Arsenal are a very rich club and in a far better situation than Everton. Saka strikes me as someone who won't agitate for a move immediately. He'll continue his development and if Arsenal can't keep up he'll look to move then.

I think Saka will probably sign a new contract but be gone in a couple of seasons when we don't get CL football.

A little bit of context. As I said many times, Paulinho is Sporting's kit man and I doubt there's a single person who has been so unanimously loved by every one at the club and outside.
He was abandoned by his family as a kid because they were poor and he had some learning disabilities.
The orphanage where he was saw the only thing that would cheer him up was Sporting so they contacted the club to see if they could help him out.
The club offered him the job as kit man of the U15 and he started to improve so much on his social abilities that eventually he was promoted to the senior squad.
The players love him and there was a big example of that love in the summer when Slimani returned to Alvalade to play a friendly for Lyon.
So, yeah, I know it's corny having Slimani run to Paulinho to hug him and saying "I've returned home" but it's a heartfelt return.
He reduced his salary in more than half to come back home, he says that this is his home and it's the place he was happier on his career.
