It was time for him to go but we were cheap and demanding in searching for his replacement. We reached some nonsense compromise to retain him as long as we could foist some assistants and trainers on him. He had to go, his tactics went stale and the locker room tuned him out. Here we are now with no manager and a midweek Libertadores eliminator.

He doesn't drag defenders away, he doesn't control the tempo of the attack, doesn't have good hold up play, can't make any sort of key passes, can't assist anything, doesn't dribble anywhere etc.
