By markao Go To PostCoronel in ViaPlay studio knows Jos and entourage well and he (they) believes Sergio deliberate hit wall in Monaco qualie and this is payback by Max and he apparently said so to Helmut/Horner.
True or not just stupid, gonna be fun from now on. You need to let things go and Max clearly cannot, raised by his dad and "cannot let it go, let it go"
By FortuneFaded Go To PostSo wait a minute. I just confirmed this from Wikipedia.
Martin Brundle is from King's Lynn, the same place as George Russell.
David Croft is from Stevenage, the same place as Lewis Hamilton.
I knew the Croft-Hamilton connection but I didn't know the Brundle-Russell connection.
What are the odds of that?
I am from London, same place as Saka.
I wonder what it means.
By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostI am from London, same place as Saka.Kings Lynn has a population of 42,000

Stevenage has a population of 87,000
London has a population of 8,800,000
But sure, they are comparable.
By Punished Go To PostAlso, another shout out to Markao for the race previews this year. 👏👏👏Gracias and one more for you before the winter break, R22 Abu Dhabi GP
Last year track changes made it a bit more front limited, but there are still 3 long straights and that will with this years difference in cars, put it more in to downforce efficiency territory for me. So RBR/Max, unless the Austin weight saving and floor changes can put the W13 in to the fight, would be nice so Lewis can get his annual win. Feel like Ferrari over the last few races just lacks that little bit of race pace to bother Max (or Merc) to much, but if they can get their car on the front-row in Q, maybe Charles can pick-up 2nd in Champ, but fear for him with the long DRS zones.
Lot of other fights, more so for the Team Championship and the Dollars that come with them. But on form, Alpine/Aston, would be nice if Seb gets a nice farewell to our sport with a good result.

Standings (top 10) before last race:
Mick in the end not fast enough to forget all the crashes he had and not helped in his 1st season by slow car/teammate, did not learn anything.
Hard to see him back, unless there is some German car manufacter that want his nationality/name in the team, reserve driver maybe?
And rbr pls

FP1
Daytime and last young driver test. Sergio/Charles double set of reds, Merc used hard (some long run) and one red.

By FortuneFaded Go To PostGood to see him back in the outfit at least.
talk about a step back for DannyRic, even if it is his best option. Third driver, street demo's with Coulthard and hoping Sergio doesn't deliver.
FP2:
Clearer picture and looks like RBR and Max after of weekend Brasil are back on top. Single lap Mercedes might push him, but in the long-runs Merc lost to much with clipping on the long straights. Ferrari single lap there or there about, but mega degration and lack of pace in the long-run, so looks like at least p4 for Sergio (and p2 championship) unless Ferrari improves over night.
Alpine like last few races, best of the rest, have not seen other midfield teams long-run data, but looked like most were in 32/33 were as Alpine looked high 31 's.

By MF Coom Go To PostYeah looks like that's a penalty coming Hamilton's way.Stewards will see when and what flag was displayed and the speed difference between Lewis and those two cars before they were waved, but looked like he slowed down to late and if so, prob grid pen...but hey last race off season so prob not ;)
FP3:
Sunny and hot, so different conditions than we will have later in Q,
Sergio found some pace, Max messy 1st fast lap looks like there is some more pace. Merc second best, but if they want to fight the bulls they need to find a little bit. Both were driving different rearwings, so looks like they are still trying to find that bit.
Ferrari well off and also very bouncy through some of the highspeed corners/parts track, look well out of it this weekend.
Midfield extremely close, other than McLaren, or better Lando who looked best of the rest right now. But as mentioned lets see how that will be when track temp drops dramatically later on.
Lewis under investigation
Albon spatial awareness 100, or just a fraction to late
Yep, they also took ridiculous long time to throw red in F2
Last one hope Merc has found few tenths, would make race more fun

By KP Go To PostHad a dream that Seb finished P2 my first ever F1 dream. I need a new life.So you can dream he wins it
RBR frontrow
Ferrari de pu on Max, compared to FP sessions, hope it will hold tomorrow, But if tiredeg is as bad as FP3 will be hard to get Sergio
Merc know what to do next year, efficiency
Lando just ahead of Ocon, Seb well done make a race to remember pls
