Absolutely awful.
Team really has to look at why the tyres have failed so badly at low temps.
Gonna have to hope the rest of the races are hot.

Excellently managed by RB, just absolutely awful by Ferrari.
I know Charles was saying he’s dropped too many points from his own mistakes, but that’s dwarfed by his own team

By FortuneFaded Go To PostFerrari strategists.
Only follow F1 casually these days, but it feels like every race the Farrari strategists do something to sabotage one or even both of their drivers.
Just finished watching the replay (fell asleep 20 laps in).
Ferrari. Incredible. Absolutely incredible.
Max and Lewis amazing.

By Lunatic Go To PostMerc have come so far in a such a short time. Next year going be 🔥Yep exciting
Back home.
We had a nioce family weekend after the funeral from Friday and did not watch any F1, only saw the results and
- Q, that's weird must have been wet, dry WTF (oh and GOGEORGE!)
- Race, so it rained on Sunday, nope dry again WTF
Some house stuff to do after few weeks gone, but looks like I am in for some racing (and strategy) action later tonight when I got some time to watch it.

By Linius Go To PostBinotto saying they don’t need to focus on strategy but on why the car wasn’t performing. He was so full of shit in that interview m8
Can't believe Italy haven't put out an arrest warrant for s🅱️inotto
This race nice summed up the differences between Ferrari and RBR in the first halve of the season.
RBR after strat meeting on Saturday decides to start on hards, because their data said so. After drivers report no grip because of no heat in tires on laps out of box to grid, they change on the fly to reds for start.
Ferrari sees Max stop, think we need to cover that (logic call) and their data from debrief said hards. Why is nobody looking at the race and see everyone struggle to get temp in tires, specially them and say "hey we need to adjust and go long" and see if Charles can pass Max again on final stint on reds, because conditions were different.
Ferrari needs to be more flexible in their calls if they want to compete against RBR & Max.
And the George is doing better than Lewis stories seemed to have downed out after the last few races. Lewis like Max today showed again that going fast over one lap is relatively easy. But doing that for many laps while looking after them at the same time is a different ball game and George still has to make a few steps in that department.
Result and team standings, Merc might loose development time for next year if Ferrari keeps screwing up
And some lovely celebration pics

By MF Coom Go To PostNando to Aston in 2023Another terrible move.
Saw the rumours, but thought Fernando saw more progress at Alpine and stay there.
Must have been a combi of multi years (not at Alpine) contract and buying into the money Daddy Stroll is investing in AM last few years.
Good for Aston and Piastri

Most embarrassing thing that Alonso said was that he saw the great work Lawrence and Lance were doing.
Fuck off, Lance is absolutely shit.
Only in the sport because of his daddy.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostF1 seems even more corrupt than football tbhShould have been around for the Bernie Ecclestone days 😂
Motorsport isn't cheap and the pinnacle of motorsport F1 is the land of giants.
All we need is another DannyRic instagram post saying he drives for McLaren in 2023
Or does Piastri have a 2023 Williams seat and some better option for 2024 and is that the reason he does not want a Alpine seat.
If it is right that Alpine option was untill 31-07, Fernando timed it just right rofl

By MF Coom Go To PostPiastri to McLaren? What is going on…by reading some of the more trustworthy journalists, you have the following
- Alpine makes the error to give Ocon multi year contract
- Alpine wants to keep Alonso, but at the same time do not want to loose their Jr talent Piastri
- Alpine tells Webber (manager Piastri) that he can look at options (1+1 year) were he can find seat for Oscar, in that time either Alonso or Ocon goes and he then gets the Alpine seat
- Williams would like that and all looked ok, but Webber wasn't happy to stall Oscar at Williams and talked with his former Porche boss Seidl at McLaren for possibilities if DannyRic would leave
- Seb retires
- Fernando, not happy with 1+1 year contract, had talks with Aston. This Saturday daddy Stroll offers him a multiple year contract, but he had to sign that weekend. (wasn't waiting for better offer from ALpine and loose Fernando), Fernando takes it.
- Alpine after loosing Fernando wanted to promote Oscar, Webber or him not reachable, Alpine smells shit and puts out announcement that Oscar is their driver for next year, Oscars legal team counters it with their Soc Media posts.
- Webber is probably trying to stall signing until DannyRic, in Sept, has made his choice (stay or not), so he must have pre-contract (2023 or 24) or something like that or maybe other team (Williams 1 year, RBR/AT connections?)
And without contracts it is hard to read who is in the right, if Oscar can leave Alpine or not. So best guess, DannyRic gets money bag from McLaren goes back to Alpine, McLaren pays off the investment made by Alpine in Oscar's Jr career (or waits a year), unless Alpine does not wanna end up with Ocon/DannyRic .....and to be fair who would want that
I would say hell of a gamble by Webber for a jr that has not driven a single meter in F1, or maybe he knows more
