Daniel Ricciardo tests positive for covid-19
McLaren Racing can confirm that after feeling unwell from Wednesday onwards in Bahrain, Daniel Ricciardo has now returned a positive PCR test for covid-19.
Daniel is therefore continuing to isolate in accordance with local regulations.
Under these regulations Daniel will be released in time for next weekend’s Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. Daniel is already beginning to feel better, and we wish him well for a quick recovery.
Following this, we can confirm that Lando Norris will remain in the MCL36 for the final day of the official pre-season test in Bahrain tomorrow.

So bring on FP3 and qualifying next week to get an idea how cars will rank on a rear-limited track.

By KP Go To PostFerrari engine maybe pushing AR and Haas into midfield contention.they were also hurt with the Ferrari nda no power modes, but Haas having double the amount of windtunnel time (alfa also a lot) must also have helped them. We will see next week when they will use their race modes, don't think anyone showed all modes in testing (more like fp3 settings/times)
Would be realy great if we have the whole field closer together.

Oh I think it’s great for getting newer fans more into the sport. I’d recommend it to anyone.
Just leans too much into drama for entertainment purposes. Also just seems to jump all over the place time wise and focuses on weird things and weird times.
