By FortuneFaded Go To PostThat doesn't look like a championship winning carAll it does is remind me of Nico Rosberg.

At least it was dry yesterday, nice vortices and spray looks very high, like the williams picks earlier.
By Lunatic Go To PostProbably won't see anything real until testing.Barcelona is in 5 day.
Most of what you see now with shakedowns. will be on the cars they start with next week.
first race prob the 1st bigger updates.

New rules, mean high development path and in budgetcap era you do not want to waist anything. So you wait just long enough with sighning of on parts, so that they will be just in time ready for 1st race. So there for, I do not expect many big changes (maybe different configs, front limited higher downforce barca vs lower rear limited Bahrain) in between those test, only before 1st weekend changes might be bigger than in the last few seasons.
And in non new car news today:
Andretti name back in F1?
Like it, always felt it did hurt nrs 8/10 on the grid the most
F1’s ‘Q3 tyre rule’, which drivers claimed helped top teams, is dropped for 2022

F1’s ‘Q3 tyre rule’, which drivers claimed helped top teams, is dropped for 2022
The rule, that required drivers who reach Q3 to begin the grand prix using the same tyre set which they used to set their quickest time in Q2, was removed from an earlier draft of the 2022 sporting regulations. The updated 2022 rules published by the FIA confirm the rule has been dropped.

These new cars look so much better on track then parked on these introductions. Can't wait for next season to start, hopefully with either more teams fighting for wins or different winners.
Haas VF-22 o track Barca, looks lot more developed than the early render. Ferrari style side pots, without dip, thin frontwing (basic) nose, begin floor almost bargeboard like (similar to Merc) and thin fin on top of sharkfin, haven't seen that before.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostLooks better on track than the FerrariAgreed.
I prefer the blue Alpine livery but for the sake of something different and to stand out, the pink would be better.

No wonder Red Bull didn't show their car. There's some madness going on there.

Bahrain's exclusivity on 2022's first test is F1's equivalent of an NFT bro taking a massive L.
Barcelona just right-clicked and saved as the shit out of it.

Look at how much forward their floor starts, relative to where the driver is sitting and to the front wheels. And look at how crazy wide the floor is at front relative to the rest of the bodywork. That thing looks like it will be stuck to the ground like it's glued down. And the design at the rear is equally crazy. Amazing looking car. Makes the Ferrari look like a box on wheels in comparison lol.
I also think that a lot of teams are gonna copy that radiator inlet part stat. Cause that's just brilliant.
