Albon in points again. Latifi only ahead of Mick who took an extra pit stop. Latifi does not deserve a seat.
Max in controll after bad start to weekend,
Charles tried for few laps, but Ferrari needs less drag, topspeed difference to big to race RBR

Rush of blood for Mick which was a shame as drove a good race and was good value for a point.

think it stems from around BritGP, when he stayed to collect garbage and his passion to do something to help the environment, could be completely wrong.
Meanwhile in Indy Colin was lucky the corner went to the right, mad race with changing weather.

By Lunatic Go To PostIncredible control. Caught it as soon as he lost grip.He was also the 1st to switch to slicks, or stickerreds as they call them, quick hands baby (second part clip)
And Forza Ferrari
Max wasn't watching when Charles crashed, but was there the day before (mainly Frits vE), so partly meme
Raceweek,
Barca track were we probably will see some of the first (and smaller) updates for some teams. Two things important, pole and tire wear control (front), specially with early Summer also hitting spain (hot). Would give Ferrari better chance based on lay-out, single lap speed, but they cannot run in the same tire wear probs they had last two races and cost them the win.
Big week for Merc, some more updates and data from test, so at least after this race they need to know were to go with the W13, not just for s6 this season. McLaren looked good in the winter test, maybe they can find some extra pace and cannot count out Alonso (q special) . But with so many rumoured updates, a team that finds 3/4 tenths might as well be best of the rest.

FP1
Max ran in to 6/7 cars (traffic) last few corners, so lost 3 tenths and then you have those two teams as close as al year, Vips was driving around like some one who was told to not, I repeat not crash that car. Mercedes looked better, even though single lap might not show that (yet?) .
Nyck did what he had to do in a Williams, being faster than Latifi even with some time lost in S3 due to traffic.

Charles fastest over a single lap, Max error S2 similar to George time (Merc maybe slightly higher PU modes, test new PU). Long run Max 3/4 tenths ahead of the rest, Charles complaining about wear and was almost passed (went in to pits) by George who started 2 secs behind him, so would put Merc 2n fastest although Carlos was better on his tires (maybe set-up related). Lewis did few laps on softest compound first so was slightly out of tune with rest (similar to George) and Perez only did long-run on softs (and no running in FP1, young drivers)
Alpine looked 2nd best, but Bottas issue means no long run data from him and Seb was also pretty fast in a new car. McLaren drama with pace and Lando running wide and destroying new floor (no long run)

FP3
Ferrari did some longruns in the end and looked better than yesterday (wear), still fastest over single lap, so pole should be Charles (error free lap of course). Lewis had error in his first few corners, so his tires fell little of in 2nd try, so would put him up there with Charles. So looks like 6 cars within 1/2 tenths for quali unless someone adds a bit single lap speed before Q.
McLaren looked best of rest, good recovery after troublesome FP2 and rest midfield as expected really close around familiar track.

By Vini.lad Go To PostMercs are 🔙? 👀Still feel Ferrari has a single lap edge 9lower pu mode, earlier FP3), but would not be shocked if Lewis can keep the Merc pole streak (2013) going.
