Look a real car, well done Aston! , also not a huge fan of the colour change (less classsic aston racing green)
Biggest difference between this and the Haas looks to be completely different view on what to do with "sidepots". Haas wide early on and slimmer to rear end (current philosophy) and AM that keeps it wider, but with a huge undercut under it to get more flow to top diffuser?.
top view comparison

AMR22 on track, still do not like that new colour and amazing how high the frontwing looks of the ground without rake on the new cars.
leaked ? Looks like it, so more "gulf" orange and blue this year. Also looks very "generic", unlike the AMR22, so might well be hiding a lot with these renders, other than the pullrods.
By Lunatic Go To PostCars look clean for sure.Get the feeling that teams are either
- playing hide and seek
- Wait as long as possible to build a car for test & have reaction time and build one for 1st race with what you learned/saw in testing (budgetcap)
- Or use the building block approach, not sure were we are going with new rules and make sure you can react quickly to what you (still) learn and or see on the other cars. No commitment to a certain direction and being locked in it for a whole season.
The colours don't work with each other, makes it look like a back marker with a chimp for the graphics design.
By markao Go To PostGet the feeling that teams are eitherFor sure that teams are pretending to show their development product like it is in production. Pure cap by all these teams. We know that Merc will be the last team to announce which means that they are hiding some crazy shit that will probably be banned within 2 races.

Regardless I just like the clean lines of these new cars.

only frontwing looks a bit weird, but all those bargeboards gone is great.
Looks like another show car bar the side pod inlets, the side-pod outer shape, engine intake, engine cover outlet. Lovely livery though, real Williams 2000 vibes.
No white wheel covers :booh:
But frontwing attached to 1st plane, if real, is different and the side pots look like a mix between AMR (same front box size, prob regulations requirement) and Haas. Latprge undercut, but top side moves air more dodownwards
And 3 sprintraces, comments are brutal, fans of F1 just love them. Eight points for a win, have a good car for the weekend and you run away with 34 pnts.

By Punished Go To PostThat bottom front wing plane almost looks above the 2nd, with lower scoop in the middle part? Side pots look mostly like the AT from yesterday, little less downwards.
Real FW44 on track, Silverstone shakedown. Different style air intake, compared to normal on Merc engines, cooling like Alpine last year (on top engine?). Nose is different than on all others and side pot looks extremely thin (again cooling Alpine style?).
Tomorrow, leak today F1-75, do like the added black
Side pots mix AM (if there is an undercut) and others, small inlets, mirror on side pot, louvres on top, frontwing attached to nose how? .......need more pics, so leakers pls
"als je wint heb je vrienden" , another 50 mil a year for RBR

By MF Coom Go To PostReally dig the black wing. Rosso Corsa and Carbon Black, that car looks straight out of the 1990sno more Philip Morris sponsorship does wonders to the Ferrari livery, red looks good again.
Leaks were real, beauty. Need more oics of those sidepots, they are definetely doing something different.

And scapegoat: don't think it was necesary ,(can see every future decission by him being questioned otherwise, but would slowly go away) just the reforms as mentioned were necesary and I do not think a rotation for the race director is smart.

I’ll definitely miss the spicy team radios

I see that as an absolute win." - Masi (probably)

If your replacement solution is a rotation of two guys, without expierence in F1, it shouts "easy way out by new President" (look I fixed it), as most talk will stop/go away with Masi gone.
Freitas is mostly good in the WEC, smooth countdown voice and Wittich just had a more controversial ending in the DTM than F1 had, that included the nr2 taking out the nr1 (only 5 sec pen, #gomax) and some Mercedes team strategies between different Merc powered teams(#yesmikeyyes). So that doesn't sound like a well tought solid plan, but an "at least its different plan". Race controll is good, non broadcast of messages people not fully understand, probably for the better, but will miss them.
Assume most probably would want Freitas full term in 2023 and he could not get out of WEC commitments and that is their future plan.

The progres in a week is stunning............but common this is all there is from a shakedown at Silverstone, ukers pls
Need more pics, but kind of feels "conventional" (for 2022), with forward cockpit, at first glimpse?
There are released renders, but the look different than car on the stream, few more from stream...its no wow Ferrari

We still have the Alpine and better pics of RBR to go, but so far it looks like some whent for smallest possible packaging and others used available space (rules boxes) to create some form of shape Aston side, Ferrari top side pots.
Curious to what will be working well with the new rule set for 22
