Shame I didn’t get to watch the final race, wanted to see Vettel one more time.
I think he is an all time great and doesn’t get enough respect. Should have ended a five or six time champ if Ferrari showed some competence.
Thanks for the memories.

If (when) Shanghai is cancelled, there’s going to be a month gap between the 3rd and 4th races. It’s probably too late to shuffle Baku forward a week
Can't wait for crypto to disappear from F1 cars. Tobacco sponsors, while absolutely terrible for health, at least produced very memorable liveries. Crypto sponsors are competing for either a dumber sounding name or an uglier logo.
Binotto resigned today.
Glad he is gone. Way out if his depth.
Gonna be a busy time for John Elkann with Juve’s board resigning and now this.

Italian media via Reddit (before the announcement):
While waiting for Elkann to accept his resignation , Binotto looks elsewhere. Four teams have already knocked on the Italian-Swiss engineer's door, including Alpine, Aston Martin and above all a top team . And it is not said that, in that case, some prominent technicians do not want to follow him. Again, history would repeat itself."Would be a big deal for Alpine to get him for his engine knowledge but that team is even more of a circus than Ferrari.
typicall dumb Ferrari blame game, will not fix anything just make it worse for few years, before the next one gets blamed.
eat, do not win, fire repeat eat, do not win, fire repeat
Glad he jumped ship, will no doubt get an offer from some other team as the man is actually one of the more capable ones in that Ferrari top echelon.
And in true Ferrari fashion, no replacement yet.

Dude was way out of his depth.
The strategy team is a shambles, but he kept thinking everything was fuck.
Dude was good in lesser positions, but the top one was too much. Not gonna get another shot at the top gig.

Rueda is running strat team and defending something to the outside world does not mean you are doing that internally as well. He should have never been put in the double position of tech director and team boss agree, but he is now completely out of the Ferrari family.
Man already prob had a phone call and will now probably go to RBRPowertrains and work on their 2026 PU, great job Elkan!

By JesalR Go To PostWonder if he wants another team principal roleCannot see that happening, unless daddy Stroll throws in the dollar bills
But seeing he was most senior technical director (PU department), best guesses are RBR Powertrains, AUDI/Porsche, Merc still need Andy Cowell replacement....so don't think if he wants to stay in F1 he will be looking for a job that long.
Some rumours Portimao may be used in place of Shanghai.
I’d love that, my parents have a place about 30 minutes away

The reports last Summer about Vasseur, ART guy same as young Tost and Leclerc, to Ferrari were true in the end. If those rumours about full push for it out of the Leclerc camp are true, that will lead to just more political shit at Ferrari and don't know if Vasseur is the guy to get all faces in the same direction.
Had no clue Jost and FX were even considered as having done a bad job, so that came out of no were (unless retirement is really the reason)
McLaren even more out of the blue. Some reports in German media speculating that Seidl would be the perfect guy for the Audi job, but no one ever considered he would leave McLaren or at least not before 2026. From his point, if you do it you have to do it right now as he found out at McLaren how long it takes before you get the right personal/tools to be competitive.

PR move for Merc, but good for Mick. Stays in the F1 paddock and can maybe learn a thing or two on the sidelines.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostTIL Lando comes from a wealthy family
By Punished Go To PostHe is not gonna give up on his dream, good for him.
F1 is hot property right now, more potential manufacturers than teams to buy. So some do have to try it the hard way, new entry.
I've already forgotten what happened last season so Netflix can cook up anything and I'll eat it the that sandwich
By Vini.lad Go To PostI guess someone had to take the blame for the bad Ferrari strategy calls.
That was unexpected
But looks like a nice change and step-up for him and hopefully a big step in the right direction for Williams.
