Driver61 and Scarbs.... Just throw in Sam Collins and you would pretty much have my dream team for reviewing F1
There was one time when McLaren and TAG decided to fit their 1.5L V6 from the MP4/3 into the back of a 911 Turbo as a test mule sometime in the mid 80's. That car was kept hidden within the MTC until a few years back, when Lanzante decided to build a continuation series.
It is a rehearsal from what was posted mid November around Brasil GP in the German press, nothing new.
VAG board still have to give the green light and if memory serves me right, somewhere mid January was the rumour they will meet and discuss. If there is a hint of real interest at VAG concern, now is definitely the time to step in. Costs 2/3 less, if you include engine and interest from public on the up, compared to the hybrid era.
You do have to sell it from pr going green perspective, but maybe the switch to synthetic fuels might do that.

BERLIN, Jan 12 (Reuters) - Volkswagen's Audi (VOWG_p.DE) will make a decision on whether to enter Formula One towards the end of the first quarter or beginning of the second quarter of this year, a source close to the matter told Reuters on Wednesday.
The subject will be discussed at a supervisory council meeting at the end of February but a decision will not be made until later, the source said, declining to be named.

Red Bull motorsport boss Helmut Marko has revealed that the plan has changed, and the intention now is that Honda will continue to supply complete engines from Japan to Red Bull and AlphaTauri until the end of 2025.
The decision removes any concerns about issues such as quality control that might result from moving the building of the power units to the UK, while also freeing up RBP to focus more on its 2026 project.
The change has been made in part to ensure that RBP will still be a new participant when its own engine is introduced in 2026.
Saw someone on Reddit suggest it'll stop VAG from getting their hands on the IP in the event of any partnership with RBR (although RBRP were hiring the UK Honda people so that may not make that much difference)

Seams only thing changed is that they, RBR powertrains, do not have to assemble the parts themselves, get the full pu instead.

And in non rbr news, Lando 2025. Personally would have waited untill after test, but do understand him wanting to lead his "own" team and 2026 is new anyway.
By Punished Go To PostThe 2022 livery on F1's generic 2022 model. Oracle title sponsor.with that amount of money, I would put the emphasis on Oracle to, surely not real (20x 5 sounds more likely?)
