By C4-621 Go To PostGuys maybe the election was in fact rigged 4 years agoIt's just crazy that Democrats could rig it while out of power and forget to do so when in power.
Poor planning, I think.
hack comedians and writers breathe a sigh of relief as they get 4 years of low hanging fruit for their material

Gaza, climate change, gay and trans rights and even abortion. None of that shit matters for the top seat.
He's right about one thing, people seem to like the idea of states rights and leaving shit to the states to deal with.
Blame immigrants and make shit up about the economy while Wall Street is booming and I guess you have a winning ticket.

It’s the least surprising thing of all time. The only surprise was he won in 2016 after all the shit he said. After that, 70m people declared themselves okay with his character. Everything else since has just followed in that vein.

He’s the most American person of all time. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Does what he wants, says what he wants, gets away with it.

In many ways, he would be the perfect successor to Trump really. Could make history being the leader of both USA and mini USA.

Amazing we got here. Last VP was at least a conventional Republican. This one’s a fucking gamer.
I like how people are already saying that the problem with Kamala was she wasn't progressive enough. They just don't get it, America (and the world) has taken a hard turn to the right.

By rerixo Go To PostI don't think it's clear thats true. centrist liberal bs clearly on its way out, but don't see why populist left can't capture mainstream. just more of an uphill battle because institutions would rather go far right.Based on the amount of ticket splitting and the success of ballot initiatives like abortion rights and minimum wage increases, I don't think people are sorting themselves into conservative/liberal ideologies very cleanly right now. A significant number of people don't see any conflict between believing in those things and voting for the Republican presidential candidate. Similarly, the pro-slavery ballot and pro policing measures passed by a good margin in heavily liberal California.
