By Cleff Go To PostThey are everywhere. No particular surprise that Henrietta there was invited to Osborne's wedding. I guess Tarquin and Imelda got stopped by security

nicknamed the lower intestine back in 2017 lol. if you ever get time, google up some of the hurdles the project went through
its hard to separate the sabotage from the general incompetence

It's both lol
One half that wants to do it is incompetent and more worried about PR and compromises while the other half just outright hates the idea because fredum.gif and wants nothing to do with it

There was a lot going on
Off memory, SK and JP companies were frozen out of the bidding because their proposals were substantially less costly lol. Couldn't have that. There was also a huge issue with the steel and materials brought in not standing up to sea water problems. Being built directly over some highways turned a lot of stretches of the road into legit death traps. Think the coverage is only a third of the early requirements as well.
I don't even know what they settled on regarding security outside of the curfew.

"Was that in violation of child labour laws?"
"No really I'm asking. I think I may have been trafficked."

Never let it be forgotten how much both USA Gymnastics and the Michigan State university tried to cover this up.

you expect me to believe he knows what the temperature was 100,000 years ago to the date?

edit:
The exact modeling system used to estimate Tuesday’s temperature has only been used since 1979 and scientists can only roughly estimate average temperature for prior years

Watched on video on rail that suggested we should build more rail to nowhere so centers can pop up around the rail with the rail as part of its city planning.
Like a rail in LA or Houston May get you somewhere but if the destination isn’t walkable once you get there … does it help?
By Laboured Go To Postnah lolLmao this man will never learn

Same with Portland. It's a bunch of Park and Rides instead of walkable communities.

I stayed near the Oakland airport last fall for work and eventhough the BART line was visible from my hotel I was not able to access it by walking there and had to call an Uber. It was just a bunch of massive stroads and parking lots and strip malls.
So I ended up paying an $8 Uber to take an $11 30 minute BART ride to SF because the alternative was a $50+ hour long Uber ride.

Make all the threads you want, friend.
By Fenderputty Go To PostWatched on video on rail that suggested we should build more rail to nowhere so centers can pop up around the rail with the rail as part of its city planning. Not necessarily. Most important is to create transit where demand is greater and serve that first. After you can start expanding as the line grows and induces demand further, and even then you need some kind of density already in place. It doesn’t even need to be walkable it just needs good connections.

Like Reilo said a bunch of park and rides isn’t the way to go. We have train stations in the middle of nowhere and they’re useless. Look at this ridiculousness starting at 10:19 here.
