It's not about having a positive outlook on life, but how you choose to use said positive outlook in life while simultaneously dismissing others concerns, yes. Hence why you're called patronizing.
Hard disagree there.
My life may be great (with all its faults and wonders) in my opinion, but others might call it shit. Perspective to be considered. I don't ever recall ever willingly patronizing anyone online or in real life, I'm not a millionaire and don't own private jets, I don't drive Porsches, own vacation homes, I don't even eat out that much, or go to the movies, or concerts, etc... But I'm happy with my 25 year old car, my job, my roof over my head, and the people in my life. My life ain't all that grand even (perspective to be had, I recognize the access I now have compared to others), but I try to be positive with what I have, genuinely. And five back when I can. This isn't being rude, or patronizing, or insulting or condescending. If I think life in general is getting better for humanity as a whole, and post that online, then I don't think that should be something controversial, because it's a fact.
And finally, as I stated before, I apologize if I flocked his feathers in any way, I don't know him, or his real life experiences. My point wasn't to tie-in his day to day with the general positive trend of the world. If I did that please ignore.

LOL Baltimore def been trying to "clean up" (read: whitewash) it's image. Same shit with DC. Not even being secretive about it, either.
Whole ass blocks looking like Sim City 2050 and others looking frozen in time. Got the people's culture, jobs, and livelihoods the fuck up outta there. Put them on a train to the county and in section 8 housing. The others, well. See em if you see them.
Covid was a gift to "urban renewal" projects on the east coast. All of that advancement comes at a price, and the folks that have less have to pay it.
******
I typically find that when people bring up, "you all had it better than we did" in the states, is that a lot of times they are lacking any and all context and nuance, as to why someone would speak negatively: even while being somewhat true (depending on circumstance and situation). It's basically a stones throw away from the bootstrap shit we hear, all of the fucking time, living here.
And to be real, America as a whole got a lot of foreigners fooled in regards to how developed it is, overall. The US is a vast land, and while yes, it isn't the same type of third world poor, there are pockets that are a different type of hellscape to live in. Another type of nightmare, with the same type of monsters running it. Don't get it twisted.
I'm sure the Texans and folks living in Mississippi would love to hear about how better off they were, when that winter storm hit, and they were freezing and dieing without power, water, or heat, for a week plus.
******
Furthermore, you can have a positive outlook on life, while wanting better or pointing out why things should be viewed in a different light, when people just say shit, just because it sounds good or makes them feel better.

In the morning before the Lafayette Square photo op, Trump had clashed with Milley, Attorney General William Barr, and the Defense Secretary, Mark Esper, over his demands for a militarized show of force. “We look weak,” Trump told them. The President wanted to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 and use active-duty military to quell the protests. He wanted ten thousand troops in the streets and the 82nd Airborne called up. He demanded that Milley take personal charge. When Milley and the others resisted and said that the National Guard would be sufficient, Trump shouted, “You are all losers! You are all fucking losers!” Turning to Milley, Trump said, “Can’t you just shoot them? Just shoot them in the legs or something?”
It turned out that the generals had rules, standards, and expertise, not blind loyalty. The President’s loud complaint to John Kelly one day was typical: “You fucking generals, why can’t you be like the German generals?”
“Which generals?” Kelly asked.
“The German generals in World War II,” Trump responded.
“You do know that they tried to kill Hitler three times and almost pulled it off?” Kelly said.

fucking clown.
German generals had it easy. Hitler barely personally disciplined them, even after failures and attempts on his life.

By DY_nasty Go To Posthttps://www.washingtonpost.com/education/2022/08/03/school-teacher-shortage/Yeah, I have some friends in the teaching business and they have been terrified about this for several years now. Dwindling pay, onerous teaching restrictions, exponentially more paperwork, significantly more hours required to get everything done that needs to be done, no support for supplies, etc.
this is fine
This has to do with Trump destroying documents … if the feds got Garland and a Judge to sign a warrant they must have a fuck ton of evidence
By DY_nasty Go To PostNo way he gets out of THIS one
My theory is that this is what the larger political establishment wants. Both Dems and Republicans. Republicans now have DeSantis. This is great for them
If garland let the fbi loose on a former presidents house via warrant … gotta be something
By Laboured Go To PostWell nowI don’t know why I but I laughed at the “they even broke into my safe!”
