They were selling "slots" to a new mausoleum they just built to supplement the existing graveyard so I bought in early to take advantage of the cheaper pricing (still like 4-4.5k, iirc; can't remember if that was the price for one or two...). Ensures that I will be buried around the relatives I love most.

Also, they are transferable, so I can sell my slot to someone else before I die if I need some money.

I believe a drop like that would need some incredibly severe damage or malfunctioning to the empennage(faulty jackscrew/stabilisers stuck pushing the plane down, or just broken off completely), regardless nightmare fuel stuff as you can only imagine being a passenger nose diving directly downwards for a full 3 minutes.
