Snowboarding is fun but stupid expensive. Big bear is close and Mammoth is only about 4 hours drive and I still never go because the cost of a lift ticket is wild. Fuck I got kids now lol FOH
Gear is one thing, but it’s a one time cost if you don’t have kids. Snowboarding costs a ton on top of the gear. Surfing, for example, has expensive board and wetsuit but after that you just park at the beach.
