One of my best friends has to get monthly injections into both eyes due to complications from diabetes -- most notably from now taking care of it so his eyes got used to high blood sugar levels so they glitch out now that he's in a more normal range.

Probably depends on injection. They have to pump fluids into the eye which causes a lot of pressure. So much she loses complete site out of the eye for several minutes. The first shot numbs, second goes into different are of eye from what I saw. She has bad pain for 24 hours after.
