The only bit I donāt like is how ugly dirty snow in the city looks after cars have been driving over it, but thatās yet another negative of cars
I went snowboarding 30+ times over the decade I lived there. It was fun but the weather is shit and there is no denying it. You must not realise how much you are suffering.

Worst part of living here is our wages are comparatively shit compared to the US and a few other countries. If I had my same job in NYC I could easily make 3-4x more all in than I do here.

Rent in NYC is higher on a per dollar level but they make way more money than we do that it ends up cheaper. Overall I think living here is more expensive due to the income situation.
Don't forget stuffing every clothing part with goose downs to keep from freezing. Those feathers add up.

I have no desire at all to live in the States if we were to ever move abroad again, just pointing out an area I think we should do better in. Other than that Canada has generally been very good to my family and I and am privileged in that regard.
