You found a violin at work.
Wait, what?
I'll take pictures later
Violins are like nails on a chalkboard for me so I'm sad because it means a lot of otherwise great music is nearly unlistenable.
By bacon Go To Postman all I have going for me is regular depression
oh yeah that's always there.
By Kibner Go To PostViolins are like nails on a chalkboard for me so I'm sad because it means a lot of otherwise great music is nearly unlistenable. How can you hear the first notes of the intro to Serenity and say that?

By Kibner Go To PostViolins are like nails on a chalkboard for me so I'm sad because it means a lot of otherwise great music is nearly unlistenable. That’s wild. Back in December I saw an orchestral performance of a famous violinist playing Tchaikovsky’s violin concertos and it’s gotta be some of the best music I’ve ever heard.
By s y Go To PostOne of those years tbh
Fucking yes.
By i can get you a toe Go To PostKibner is from the south right? he grew up with corny ass violins called fiddlesI'm talking about actual orchestral violins. Or any other high-pitched string instrument that generates sound via a bow running across strings to create the vibration that makes the sound. It is honestly just grating to me.
By DY_nasty Go To PostharumphI respect it.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostThat’s wild. Back in December I saw an orchestral performance of a famous violinist playing Tchaikovsky’s violin concertos and it’s gotta be some of the best music I’ve ever heard. This piece is one of the best songs I have ever heard, tbh:
e: also, that song is a bit more difficult to play than at first blush; lots of chords that are difficult to play in tune with a group, including many of them being dissonant chords at low volumes with thin orchestration (i.e. few instruments and players), which makes it even harder.
By DiPro Go To Posti didn't know violins got haters.I'd rather listen to a middle school oboe player.
I'm trying to do a dalle with "eric gordon's heart in phoenix, arizona" or "eric gordon leaving his heart in phoenix, arizona" but the site says it has too much traffic so I can't. :( :( :(
just spam the button and it will work eventually.
but it showed me some white guy when i put in eric gordon so it might now work.

By Lunatic Go To PostAnd people think AI will solve the world's problemshave you seen Dall-E 2?
This one isn't any good, either:
I mean, it is about "no heart" Gordon, so it makes a little sense, I guess.

By Pac-12 Go To PostAlways trust the cat.Normally I would, but this cat isn't poltergeist certified.
Pretty sure it heard the case rattling and assumed I'd brought home another cat like a whore.
gonna get it looked at and maybe restored to be passed off to someone who can appreciate it more. will probably buy my own this weekend
will post later to confirm cat hasn't killed me yet

Most friendly people I've met in SA so far - Venezuelans - and that's people who had to flee their own state too. Think I might be ready to sign up for one of those marryawomenfromvenezuela.com for the good cause of humanity too.
I don’t drink coffee all that much but I ended up stopping into this new coffee shop that just opened up because the shit was dead and I wanted to support a local shop.
Coffee is pretty decent and it was only $3. Dunkin and Starbucks out here charging double for a worse product and somehow always busy
Smh

Gonna be 88F on Saturday though.
Also, 30C lol. That's not a scorcher.
