Growing up with my mom and grandparent smoking I've come to absolutely hate the smell. Even if they went outside to smoke, they would still fucking stink.
By Yurtlicious Go To PostI don't smoke cigarettes lol
Weed is just as bad (if not worse) in terms of smell imo (if that's what you're on about)
It's crystal meth
I do like the smell a lot better, but still smoke at the end of the day. But people luckily don't smoke 20 to 40 joints a day at least, like my mom used to with cigarettes

To be fair I said just as bad. The actual smell of fags is WAY worse but the smell of weed lingers for a lot longer. Both fucking unpleasant.
By Batong-curling Go To PostThey both smell bad but one is 'better' for you in terms of usageBasically what I meant
namaste
my "problem" with weed smell is that when somebody goes and smokes a cig i can only smell it close up and it goes away rather quickly but if you smoke weed i can smell that from 100 feet away for hours.
By DiPro Go To Postso glad i never started smoking. that seems like a bitch to quit.My dad quit basically cold turkey, but it ended up being such a shock to his immune system that he caught some kinda super-pneumonia, and died from it. That is probably the main reason I never started.

Thanks, folks. Just continuing this rehab from home now. Took my latest librium capsule and enjoying a nice, tasty banana premiere protein shake.
I've worked with people who had crippling alcohol addictions. Arriving to work at 9 in the morning off the faces. They've all kicked the habit after a lot of effort. Best of luck Pac.
I've kicked most of the bad habits I had in my 20's. Never really smoked, but went out and drank a lot from 24-28 maybe? Now I only really drink at weekends.
Definitely have an issue with coffee though. I love it so much. Trying to cut back from three double espressos per day.

Didn't even know I was in the hospital. I'm a good son like that.

Aw shit sorry about that, kib. My dad also went cold turkey, from chain-smoking multiple packets a day. He'd be lighting up another before he finished the cancer stick in his mouth. Suffering for his habit his entire life since, and I wonder what sort of health my mom would have had if he wasn't killing the family with his shitty fucking habit back then.

Thank you sir

This is a trap, I know it
Weed can smell rank or good. There's a whole spectrum of smell with it.
Had two people in my family die to smoking related causes. Not a way I wanna go. Also the smoke just gets into everything. I can smell a smoker a mile off. It just doesn't really come out of clothes or furniture no matter how many times it's cleaned.

Yeah, I tried to quit or at least cut back myself a number of times, never could stick to it. The idea of "tapering off," as alcohol is one of the most dangerous drugs to try to quit cold turkey if you have a dependence. The advancing withdrawal can literally kill you. Anyway, a couple of times, I tapered down to 0 alcohol, which once last 3 days, the other time lasted 1, then it was back off to the races.
Hit up the old job for the first time in a year to grab lunch w/ some folks I still like there and catch up before I leave town. And it was such a satisfying visit. My life has really improved so much so quick
I enjoyed the hell out of hearing my old boss life has been a living hell now since she thought she was about to come up taking some of my bigger accounts. Maybe next time don't call someone lazy, unmotivated and lay them off if
1) they are your top sales rep by far
2) you dont even have any idea what the fuck they do anyway
That shit isnt anywhere near as easy as I made it look and all I ever wanted was for them to get off my dick but they just couldnt do it.
Sometimes you really have to just flex on people to let them know they aint shit, never were shit, and never gonna be shit.

Anyone in particular? Going through Amazon and the reviews are rough but I guess most people buy them for camping.

Fa real?
A bad mattress will leave you fucked up in the morning from poor sleeping posture. Sleeping on the floor always had me feeling good
It’s just hard to fall asleep bc it’s hard to get comfortable.

Whenever I had back pain and so on, sleeping on the floor fixed it. Absolutely hate too soft beds, by back just feels like shit for days after sleeping in one.

Bought some sleeping mat off Amazon that was highly recommended on a whim and been at peace ever since. Sometimes I'll go with a quilt or light comforter instead but I'm happier without the bed
By Kidjr Go To PostFa real?absolutely
We invested in a good mattress a few years back and it's excellent.
Slept on the floor a few times in a hostel in Hong Kong and hated it. Never again

If you're not willing to cash out on an amazing mattress, the floor honestly... once you adjust its kinda great
If I sleep on a shitty bed now it feels like I may as well have slept in my car or at my desk. Just awful

I feel that. An awful bed is worse than the floor tbh.
Then several levels of hell below that is a sofa bed. Don't think I've ever slept on one that wasn't terrible.
