After being a bit lazy with VR games, got back to my "workout" sessions.
3 songs on Beat Saber, 3 levels of Pistol Whip (final boss of the 2089 campaign is so good) and a few rounds of Eleven Table Tennis to conserve a bit of energy for 2 fights of Thrill Of The Fight.
Man, that game knocks me out. First two fights that had to go to the scoreboard, barely could lift my right arm on the final round.
Sweating a lot, thank God for the VR Fitness Cover that's easy to clean.
1h20 of VR, 713kcal burned.

I just bought Walkabout Mini Golf 2 on the Quest 2. Fancied something relaxing instead of Pistol Whip/Beat Saber/hardcore pornography and I got what I wanted. 8 courses of 16 holes (still talking about Mini Golf btw) and each course has a hard mode. Plays really well, you can move about and teleport to anywhere you would expect you would be able to and honestly the art style keeps it looking decent. Golf+ was the other one I tried and that looked like ass but is a very different type of game.
By Old King Rob Go To PostFedEx is the worst. Ordered a steelseries arctis 3 and they keep “failing to deliver” because no one is home.Every time I get FedEx or OnTrac I audibly swear. Fedex hasn't given me a proper delivery date in years. Both it and OnTrac just toss shit including expensive, over 300+ dollar stuff onto the porch with no bell or signing or anything. I wish I could designate my courier when purchasing products especially pricey ones.
After my $25 reward + sale price the headset was only $10. You can’t just leave it on my doorstep? I called and told them because the note they leave on your door says to change delivery settings through the app but the app doesn’t work
If someone wants to steal my $10 headset go ahead. Meanwhile when they delivered my PS5 they left it on the front steps.
So a high demand $500 product gets treated like the morning paper but a $10 headset that no one cares about gets treated like it’s a million dollar product.
By Freewheelin Go To PostWalkabout is superb yeah haha, music is great too
Yeah. The music on the cliffs course is very nice.
Honestly this game probably isn't up there with the must play VR games (Alyx, RE4, Beat Saber, Super Hot, Astro Bot) but it's definitely just in the tier under and I would recommend it to pretty much anyone who doesn't hate mini golf.
By Old King Rob Go To PostIf I play Mass Effect through PC Game Pass, would my saves carry over to the console? If it is a Play Anywhere title, then yes.
By LeonidDikapriovLung Go To PostWait, you can't do that?If this is directed at me, you're twisting the knife man, no I can't.
Lmao didn't mean to. But it was. Just surprising, would have thought that was an option.
In denmark we get the option to pick between several ones, sadly these days they are pretty much equally shit

Bought Disco Elysium and the GTA trilogy because I can't help myself
If the former is shit I'm swimming to Denmark, hopefully they've fixed the text size on PS5. Expect GTA will be disappointing but I have such an attachment to those games that I'll play through them all anyway. Not sure what state they're in right now.

Gone back to my JRPG bullshit. Bought the two Nier games on the PS store sale. Only just started Yakuza: LAD and Divinity 2. Dunno when I'll actually get to play them.
Also have Dragons Dogma to get to as well.

No need n8 honestly, even a dumbass like me managed to keep up.
The world building is dense, but ultimately is not that important as long as you know the characters and their motives.
It's simultaneously chill and exhausting somehow

Divinity 2 is a genuine masterpiece, Clegg.
Never played a Balder’s Gate game, but if they are involved, day one (after early access).
Contemplating picking up Dark Souls for the first time this weekend.

By Andrew Go To PostDivinity 2 is a genuine masterpiece, Clegg. The amount of options and character classes in Divinity 2 is a bit overwhelming. Started off as a spell caster, but thinking of reclassing to a rogue/assassin. There's so much to do on the opening island which is essentially the prologue to the game. Barely even scratched the surface.

Interesting concept I guess
Showa 66, Japan has bought out most of the United States with its strong economic power. A surge of immigration has firmly planted Japanese culture within the American continent. The United States, once a world leader, has become an unofficial colony of Japanese economics and culture, and the two cultures are rapidly amalgamated. Although conflicts are inevitable, citizens are gradually adapting to a life never imagined as time goes by. However, a mysterious catastrophic incident changes the world drastically.

By Andrew Go To PostIt’s really overwhelming at first, but oh so worth it. I spent so many hours in that opening island doing everything available. What class did you play as? I'm currently developing a necromancer and it's great. But I like the idea of being a more melee focused character.

I really like how everything opens up. You do a few story missions and the side quests dovetail from them to the point where you kinda don't know what to do first. I even found two hidden areas not on the map. It's fantastic.
By Mister Go To Postwhy use that setting just to make a zombie game?
Good way to not have to follow through bar some skin-deep references via art assets.
By Lupercal Go To PostBaldur's Gate 3 is top tier lads, ran through the game (the 2 acts) 2 times alreadyyep. legit af

I can't say enough praise for the game; from the combat being an incredible sandbox (the chemistry system!!) to speaking to an NPC and using another to pickpocket - it's just amazing.
By DY_nasty Go To PostI always found LoL's cinematic trailers to be super vague, they are trying to stir intrigue, but often come across as action-filled B roll.
imagine watching arkane, seeing this, then playing your very first LoL game

They should really make a new game lol. IDK maybe Dynasty Warriors x LoL. Just anything representative of this stuff.
Re: Divinity 2, think I went double-dagger rogue Red Prince, healer/summoner Lohse, archer elf-lady, and tank big dude
Great game. Summoning is a lot of fun. Assume the game is at it's best when you look for ways to break it, but then quickly becomes less fun when you find them.
Baldur's Gate PS5 port is years away isn't it? :(

Indeed my dear Hitcher. I would add itemization to the list of flaws vs strengths, but the game is so gud anyway.
Baldur's Gate 3 with GOTY potential (assuming it finally leaves EA this year).

I didn't have a problem with item management too much, but the hotkey management was a bit of a mess on console. Nowhere near as bad as FFXIV, but still.

Used to think about just teleporting oil barrels around the map to use in fights, or teleporting enemies into areas where they couldn't fight, but that's just one layer of the combat mechanics that are available.
Had to abuse some positioning and status effect shit to beat the scarecrow thingy that shot fire all over the place. Bone spider GOAT.

Still my favorite RPG of like the last 10 years
I’m 4 years late on BOtW, I’m enjoying it, but kind of slog
