Last of Us getting a remake is bonkers to me.
Like, it’s a 2013 game. Largely cinematic based. Sure, some of the gameplay isn’t up to the sequel.. but it just feels so unnecessary.
I’d rather just watch a cutscene compilation on YouTube if I was to revisit it.

If someone wants to steal my $10 headset go ahead. Meanwhile when they delivered my PS5 they left it on the front steps.
So a high demand $500 product gets treated like the morning paper but a $10 headset that no one cares about gets treated like it’s a million dollar product.

Wow ok Outriders can get pretty nuts it seems. Got a purple auto shotgun with shots that both create explosions and immobilizes enemies, purple pants with a crit stack, and I’m just mowing through everything right now at World Tier 5. Feels like I’m just scratching the surface too.

and its balanced to get silly too which is awesome. the world tier system they have set up is actually fucking legit and i wish more games would build on it. there were more than a few times later in the game where i had to hold my L and turn the world level back down a notch to match my gear while i caught up and fine tuned my setup.
its great for a spin on gamepass. hope for more folks give it an honest go

I thought Valve was going all in but I remember reading something awhile ago that they’re already done with VR.
I've played HL Alyx on my Quest 2 using a workaround and it's certainly very playable on there.
Obv it's never going to be as good as the Index version, but it was very cool to play.

Was going to be hard not to design something that utilizes the PS5's hardware, but the standalone standard that Quest 2 set really feels like the future. Hopefully the spec increase wired allows makes up for it.
