I've seen nothing but praise for Signalis, so far. Good shit.
Made it to the Hospital in SH3. It really is interesting, going through this directly after finishing Silent Hill. Just seeing the parallels between her and Harry, while she's sorting out her anger issues, has been great. I actually came across some environmental storytelling that I never paid attention too, before, in the office building (otherworld form).

Playing D2 as my 'youtube' game and I'm pretty impressed how well it captures the art style of the original. Really would love if more games looked like this.
I dont care if werebear isn't viable. Werebear is the dream body.

It's just not something that can flash farm any end game content.

that's nice. first one seemed cool, but i could get into it at all.
was going to buy it on steam, but it's on gamepass. even bigger inshallah.

Tried to play the original Witcher a few years ago. It's incredibly janky and the combat is atrocious even by CD Projekt's standards.

Yet it still has the best Witcher story
Wish they'd pissed off before agreeing to lumber Rocksteady with a fucking Suicide Squad game that'd take 8 years to make.
By Yurtlicious Go To PostGenuinely the worst gameplay I have ever experiencedSurely you jest? The main story felt like it was from one of those fake video games in an episode of CSI Miami.
Yet it still has the best Witcher story
The side quests and characters carried it though. They had charm.
The footage I've seen of TW1 looks more like a proof of concept than anything, even by the standards of it's time.
I love nearly every bit of Witcher content I've come across but the first game is a shocker when it comes to, er, being a game. It makes total sense to remake it and yet it's not something I ever thought about for some reason. Great news.
TW1 might be one of the worst gameplay experiences ever
I didn’t even like it with mods
I will try to remake as long as Henry Cavill is the character model for Geralt

That investigation side quest was quite good
I'd fucking love it if TW4 leaned into the investigations and found an alternative to the Witcher Vision bollocks. Even if it was just a much more shallow version of the deduction system from the Sherlock Holmes games or something like that, it'd surely be an improvement on following a string of red fog in an ugly fisheye filter.

Hitcherr ahaha
combat in TW1 was pretty standard for eurojank of the time. Didn't have much problem with it myself, just look at the crap Bethesda were putting out at the same time. No one really cares that much about Skyrim or Fallout 3 combat

Crimes and Punishments is my favourite investigation game. I'm sure there are much better in the point-and-click space but I've never been drawn to that genre (Syberia is dogshit). The Phoenix Wright games just veer too hard between taking ages to tell you something you figured out ages ago, and being annoyingly obtuse and time-consuming to get through the dialog when you take an incorrect guess. Great characters and dialogue though.
Sherlock Chapter One is on offer on PSN now I think, not seen a single impression of it since it came out though. Even for a Frogwares game it came and went with a whimper. Will probably wait for it to hit £15.
