By Yurtlicious Go To PostIto is an artist he doesn't have to be in Poland maybe
Fwiw he retweeted the SH announcement
yeah but he did the same for downpour. they kind of made it sound like he was a lot more involved than he actually was there, and he ended up just doing the cover art.
not sure why akira yamaoka would have to return tbh. unless they are redoing all the music as well. which would be weird.
Batman's combat is an absolute cancer for the genre

By WoodenLung Go To PostThat must be a troll. Surely.Maybe he's just washed.
btw we have heard about the 'return of ito and blah blah blah' before, and it turned out they were just asked for some general advice and made a cover for the game or whatever. Same shit happened with the terrible Downpour.
Did Ito go to fucking Poland to work with them? Yeah, no.
By Yurtlicious Go To PostI dunno how much she was paid but having bb Ruth Negga as my own personal maiden in DS2 was nice
Bearer of the curse, seek misery. 🥲
Hold up I had to look twice Yurt pls
By Zabojnik Go To PostMaybe he's just washed.
nah that is literally what he did.
anyway what he does well is design creatures and art direction. judging from his twitter posts... he hasnt lost that. and clearly his style has nothing to do with those later western developed games.
By Burt The Samurai Go To Postremember when yamaoka was the supposed director of homecoming or whatever
lol
Yeah... but also Yamaoka got no business being that anyway. Stick to your soundtracks.
didnt watch but: because lionhead owns the ip , and ea owns the rights to publish it. this is not news. the devs have been saying this for a million years. also i guess the ip isnt that big a game, although i loved the first one, and didnt think bw2 was as bad as people made it out to be. but just isnt that big, so why would ea or ms spend a lot of money on it.
Personally I cannot wait for Bloober's Silent Hill 2, which I expect to be bad, so I can then use it to reinforce my currently quite-thin opinion that Silent Hill was never good, which will in turn upset Wooden and then as a consequence I can be a little more happy in life in these dark times.
i do pretty much yearly.
it's just sad, that they have made it so hard for many people to obtain the originals, and then replacing it with an incompetent shit devs version. even on pc, you will most likely have to go pirate it.

Konami sealing the original SH2 away was a righteous act. Can’t have more super fans like Wooden popping up across the internet.
By WoodenLung Go To Posti hope you're not marriedhahahahah
I hope whatever the games are, that they're good. Would be nice for the series to not be ultra dead.
Swery any day. It would be a huge mess, but at least a fun and full of stupid enough stuff, that you could get a good laugh out of it all.
By Laboured Go To PostHuge update. No clue why, but the Xbox startup sound is always deafeningly loud
The Dan edition. Konami were inspired after hearing his struggles getting death stranding delivered on time
By s y Go To PostWrapped up the endings in Cyberpunk.
It's super clear that CDPR really only gave 2 of the endings scenarios any consideration/budget. The Aldecado/Panam and Arasaka/Hanako endings are really the only ones worth playing. The scenarios/design of those two are so much bigger in scope and better executed than the others. The rest feel like after thoughts.
I would have been deflated if I didn't get the Aldecado/Panam/Drill ending my first time.
The Johnny/Rogue/Moon ending is particularly lackluster.
Also the checkpoint system could use another pass through. There are too many moments in the game where you can't save and death means having to sit through Un-skippable sequences.
Is a replay from the beginning worth doing? My build was pretty spread out with most of points going to body/cool/technical/reflex. I barely spent any points in intelligence but was able to use ultimate quickhacks and equip legendary cpu.
The Panam and Secret endings are the best ones

A classic
By Call Sign: Apollo Go To PostThe Panam and Secret endings are the best onesYes Apollo!
Johnny's quests leading up to that are also top tier.
the reclusive Ito appearing out of nowhere and saying yes I went to poland fucking killed me
all the forces are against wooden tonight
all the forces are against wooden tonight
Ahaha, watching the Silent Hill on Giant Bomb's Twitch and it seems that Konami dropped the whole video, not a stream, you can move the video forward.
