Dead Space 1 holds up visually well enough, so I'm much more excited for Callisto. Other than that it looks like it's the exact same game.
Kind of the same way I feel about REmake 4 vs REmake 2.

If they adjust the scares, to throw people off, this might be as good as REmake (in terms of being an actual remake).
Dead Space 1 falls off a cliff either near the end or by half point lol I remember some excessive backtracking...or maybe I was lost I don't know
Yeah the forgotten city is magnificent, my kinda WRPG.

scorn seems fairly cool. but i could see it getting boring, if it doesnt do something new.
been meaning to play it forever. the few people who played it, all seems to love it

They should've advertised it as adult Majora's Mask
Disco Elysium got over a million words of spoken dialogue. Seeing as Bethesda most likely have max 3 words in every line of dialogue, this proves that Disco Elysium is still the GOAT.

By Burt The Samurai Go To Postman the extremes of opinions on disco elysium are funny as fuckI prefer my video games to have gameplay

this is a proper mouth breather argument. there is tons of real actual gameplay in disco elysium, even if no (or very limited) combat. if you think the writing is cringe, i mean, fair opinion, personally i love it. but do you also say point and click games adventure games have no gameplay? cause even disco got more to it than most of those in terms of gameplay.

nothing then. i just guess puzzle games just dont have gameplay then. same goes for games such as gone home, what remains of edith finch and the stanley parable. gotta have 3 big titted anime girls with sword action for it to be a real game.
but you do you.

A puzzle game is the GOAT Tetris 99 or Lumines or whatever

Kentucky route zero the only good non-game
i am not calling those puzzle games. i am saying they all have way less 'gameplay' than disco elysium.
but whatever, i cant bother with that discussion any longer than this. if you dont like it fair enough, but i think it's incredibly stupid to say it doesn't have any gameplay.

Oh yeah 13 Sentinels as well is unreal good. Also a game with a tenth of the dialogue of Disco Elysium yet that manages to say more.

if you somehow didnt manage to catch it, the thing about it being a superior game due to the amount of dialogue, was a joke on behalf of bethesda seeming to think it's a seal of quality.
but each to their own, i tried to get into 13 sentinel, and couldn't. the no gameplay shit just gives me gamergate vibes, of obese gamers harassing and doxxing indie developers (even beytter if they're women).
By DY_nasty Go To PostPathfinder is gud tho fr 10/10Want to play so badly. How is the console version?
Not getting Trails to Zero due to the translation being shoddy. Will wait until it’s patched.

Installed a bunch of emulators to my Deck via the EmuDeck script and just now finished installing Battle.Net using the Proton compatibility settings. D2:R actually runs at like 60 fps during some heavy particle scenes at the default low-ish (I didn't check) settings so I'm really happy with this!
I really liked Disco Elysium for a good amount of time, but can't help but agree with PB in that the way it didn't test my thumbs or my brain eventually led to me losing my will to play it well before the end.
Wasn't quite invested enough to really care about the decisions, and found the writing, especially the political commentary, to be annoying at least as often as it was funny or interesting.
Think they achieved exactly what they wanted to, and I can see why it gets praised for all the things it gets praised for. Just not for me I guess, glad I gave it a go though.

I loved 13S but it played itself from beginning to end.

Poundland sy levels at this point.
Bought a Dell G2722HS for £130 there. Now when I'm finished work I can just flick on the PS5 and never have to move from my home office* again.
No HDR, 1080P only but it's an upgrade on my 10 year old led that I normally game on.

I don't know how people play Yakuza with a job. I played it when I was unemployed and it was great
tried to play it again, but the 5 hour cutscenes between each gameplay segment is too much now

I’m surprised there’s so much backlash on Twitter over that Batman game being locked to 30FPS on PS5/Series X. For one, the game looks bad so I’m surprised so many seem to care about it. Secondly it’s not like a 30FPS release is anything new.
Nintendo offering Bayonettas voice actress 4k for a series that sells millions lmao
Even niko bellicks va got 6 figures for voice and mocap and that was in 2008 money

Performance modes are here to stay, though I can see the hit to said modes' visuals becoming more and more apparent as developers try to squeeze every last drop of performance from the aging hardware.
People also like to make fun and ridicule people who say they can't see & feel the difference between 30 and 60fps. And rightfully so.
I don't have a switch. I'll continue to not have one. Unbelievable that a voice actor in an icon role can only get offered $4k from a HUGE company like Nintendo. The industry can be very disappointing.
By s y Go To Postshe salty as hell lmaaaooAs she should be. Nintendo probably makes 4K off less than 100 copies.
She has been voicing Bayonetta for almost 14 years, it's Platinum biggest commercial hit.
Offering that little is insulting
