Cool, definitely interested in this.
Speaking of video games with known actors, I just found out that the main character in The Calisto Protocol is played by Josh Duhamel.
Quite surprised at the GB hires.
Grubb & Dan (when he doesn't go full Dan) in particular are great - maybe they can turn it around... I'm not exactly hopeful though.
As for Jeff, I haven't been a particular fan in recent years. Felt a distinctive lack of interest/enthusiasm/zest(?) in general with his content. Very dismissive/negative vibes too - which is only heightened when there was no one to push back. Either way, I'm pretty much off the gaming podcasts with the occasional exception of 8-4. Feels bad man. They used to be so good. But even then, I'm a lot less interested in gaming as I used to be.

By s y Go To PostNo Fable or Perfect Dark at the MS conference .Both seem like pretty obvious omissions. Perfect Dark only recently had development taken over by Crystal Dynamics.

Fable, well, I guess I've always thought that people were oblivious or willfully ignorant about how hard it is to spin up a new AAA team. The Fable team is separate from their Forza team and they didn't really start staffing up for their other studio until about mid-2020. I'm guessing it's probably a 2024 game.
Microsoft really should just stop announcing stuff with CG trailers that show nothing, though. No good comes of it and then dudes get mad when games take a long time to make or go through development troubles.
Make an rpg with car game engine, brehs
Apparently, no one learned a damn thing watching Bioware trying to make Anthem.

Some intereesting things.
- Some big maps will be supplemented with a lot of AI players (like over 100) and they say they've done a lot of work on AI being competitive, team-working and fun.
- There's an R6S type mode. Probably not quite the same destruction tho. Will be things like rappelling.
- Lots of improved vehicles stuff for bigger maps.
Gotta say though some of the things read like they're still trying to catch up with the tech deficit that BF created back in the day.

By Xpike Go To Postwhats the point of a multiplayer shooter if you fill the maps with aiSpectacle. Which is fine. There are even ways you can integrate them into the gameplay. Make them give buffs to surrounding players, or make killing them give bonuses, or have them serve as mobile spawn points, or a million other things.
By s y Go To PostBought streets of rage 4Enjoy. One of my favourite games of recent years, just incredible on every level.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostOh god I just installed Tetris 99 again and an hour went by in a blink
Retiring from that game with a perfect 100% win ratio is one of my proudest gaming moments
By Xpike Go To Post8-4 play the only gaming podcast I listened to semi regularlyJohn good people
Doom Eternal DLC part 2 got me wanting Id to make a fantasy RPG. Less Hexxen and more like Western Fantasy Nioh or like a better and edgier Kingdoms of Amalur.

Early game demos sounds great. Remember some dude got tracked down and locked up for stealing the MGS 3 demo at Gamescom.
By Laboured Go To PostHotWheels has always been their best expansion, so this has me hype!
