So eFootball's Season 1 ended yesterday. Season 2 only starts on the 16th of June so I'm not even sure if the Divisions mode is available or if the rankings will be wiped clear at the start of S2.
But the biggest piece of news is that the servers will be shut down for maintenance from the 29th of May until the 2nd of June, almost a week offline.
But don't worry, Konami has improved your offline options so you can still have fun with the game.
Does it mean new game modes? No.
More teams besides the original 9? No.
You'll get the option to play 10 minute matches and they've added the Beginning difficulty level to the other two existing levels (Normal and Superstar)...

💀
They are going to give you 300 coins (the equivalent of 3 packs) as a reward for the downtime.
Maybe there will be some new teams for the offline mode but I love how they put 10 minute matches and Beginner difficulty as the two big features.

Some MW2 leaks:
- New mode is called DMZ which is an extraction mode like Escape from Tarkov. It's be the third mode next to SP and MP.
- There's some kind of gun inspect feature.
- MP maps coming back include Highrise, Quarry, Terminal, and Afghan, and will be integrated into Warzone.

But how next gen are we talking here?
I'd need to find the article but it seems they were adding ray tracing to some extent, plus I think they were working with one of the main texture modders on PC (https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1021) to update all of the textures.

I won't even claim it.
Epic sale kind of underwhelming. FF7 Remake is still 50+€ with the discount.
Probably going to use the 25% coupon for Evil Dead.

Looking forward to the next gen patch for Witcher 3. Toussaint still looked gorgeous when I replayed Blood and Wine last year.
Would like a few more QoL improvements as well. There's still a few side quests that are unplayable due to bugs. A quick travel option to get to the Baron at Crows Perch would be nice too.

Sleeping Dogs just felt like any other open-world game at the time, really didn't see what the fuss was lol
By Freewheelin Go To PostSleeping Dogs just felt like any other open-world game at the time, really didn't see what the fuss was lolIt’s not great but it was different, and fun. Every open world game was similar to GTA/Saints Row with guns while this had you going around looking like a Jackie Chan movie.
Thought it was a solid 3/5

It had excellent combat, a fun story and Hong Kong is a pretty unique setting as far as open world games go.
Hope you got a refund.
By s y Go To PostIt was gta for weabs
it was an interesting take on the genre set in a place you rarely see in gaming
havent seen much of those since either

A Sleeping Dogs sequel with a more realistic and larger Hong Kong would be great. Played it recently and was disappointed at how small the game world is and the density was nowhere near enough.

This just reminded me that we legit got a sequel to Hardboiled in the form of a video game and it was actually half decent.
