New World of Warcraft expansion looks okay, kind of standard fare.
Need to see much, much more about addressing the criticism before getting excited.
5 new zones & a new class/race isn't enough at this point. Kind of just want WoW 2 :lol.

New Siege seems pretty good to me. Been playing it for the last couple hours, trying to get a feel for it before I play it in ranked.
Seems like a great map for getting creative on defence. One of the downstairs bomb sites can be anchored entirely from a staircase with a good set up.

People: Can you clean up all of the performance issues?
FromSoftware: Fuck you speedrunners
Speedrunning has gotten bigger, so I'm not surprised at some of the fixes. That said, I don't know that I've seen a major dev go this damn hard at trying to make sure their game is speedrun proof, after release, in a while. Some of the shit you couldn't even randomly find, playing casually. You would actually need to look for the skips.
AI Boss breaks? I get it. They shouldn't be a thing, in general.
OP weapons? Sure, there is a PvP component.
This other shit tho? Bruh. lmao. Man is pressed.
Can't fully fix the performance, but they can make sure ya'll aren't having fun.

It's even weirder this time because they never bothered fixing the ones in Sekiro
By inky Go To PostYou got any tips btw to succeed in this game? I keep getting raided and fucking up but I think it's because I'm joining too many wars lol.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostYou got any tips btw to succeed in this game? I keep getting raided and fucking up but I think it's because I'm joining too many wars lol.Play to your character strengths. The perk trees are too powerful to try to stray too far and early on stress can mount up very quickly without events to calm it down.
Establish powerful alliances asap. It's your best bet against too many wars, so marrying children, family and yourself into powerful families is key. Just go around your neighbors, empires and whatever lets you secure your borders finding good matches. If you have good allies, you can call for help and others will think twice before attacking you. Of course, being careful with succession lines is always important especially because modifying succession laws is a slow process.
Have a competent council and try to develop your most important regions. Having good administrators, marshal, religious figure is important, and you can either complement your character or cover up for your weaknesses. But there's no substitute for having a loyal spymaster. Everything runs through them, especially other people plotting against you and they can make your life much easier when getting people out of your way. Have to be careful if your character is good natured tho.
Easy thing to miss is developing your regions by investing into them. Good regions pay more taxes, are more difficult to siege and even more difficult to keep in case they occupy it. Raids are too powerful in the early game, so you just have to be ready to raise your levies and go up that army tree, so maybe focus on that early on instead of expanding. It's gonna be slower, but raiders don't really improve over time, just numbers. A more complex army and better defenses will get you ready for a counter attack soon enough.
Those are my basic tips.

Balance marrying for stats and alliances.
and most of what Inky said.
It's hard to wrap your head around at first, but you might lose in one generation and it's tempting to throw it away and start over but it's a not a game where the only progress means getting bigger and better.

1. The PS assistant/Alexa actually works really well. I was surprised by how fast it was when doing a search and opening games. I recommend turning it on.
2. COD Vanguard mp is still good.

I think I like Forbidden West more than Elden Ring, warts and all
Guess truly open worlds just aren't for me, I need some direction. Prefer the combat as well (against machines at least), though they're barely comparable in that aspect obviously.

I totally get that, because I'm the complete opposite lol.
I really struggle playing traditional open worlds, I get burned out way too quickly.
Still progressing slowly with Cyberpunk :(

Cyberpunk is a pretty good game.
The fluff sucks which means they could have made it on a way smaller budget and got the same effect but whatever. The core combat is a ton of fun and really varied. And the soundtrack is amazing

I mean, it only warrants a Damn if you don't rate Horizon that highly. He prefers how Horizon went about things, a perfectly reasonable thing to say.
