Everything Everywhere All At Once is mostly very good. I usually don't jive with films about depression/nihilism but yeah, this was one I did like.
Very pretty film too with some cool editing that reminded me a lot of Edgar Wright before he got a bit boring.
Just a really well made film that made me laugh and feel a bit sad but then happy. It takes you everywhere (ahem). Just a good film innit. Apart from the hotdogs.
Fuck them hotdogs.

Regarding the similar poster thing, these were literally right next to each other when I saw The Northman

Off to see Everything Everywhere tonight, very excited based on all the hype.
Expectations are somewhat in check because when I first saw the trailer I wasn't really interested at all, which is great because it'll probably mean I end up liking it far more than I expect.

Yeah I haven’t seen a trailer either. Will try and see it Sun.
Last time I saw something in the cinema without having seen a trailer was Handmaiden. Woof

By Freewheelin Go To PostI didn't even watch the trailer lol, just went to see it based off the hype and good reviews.
Trailer played before Massive Talent, I was really surprised when A24 popped up at the end. Shame it didn't pop up at the start or it would have had my attention.
But yeah, excited. I'll report back later!

By reilo Go To PostThe editing of that clip bothers me. It cuts way too quick to the next line of dialog.
feels like a fucking music video with those cuts.

Would you be shocked if I told you Aaron Sorkin was involved in that movie?

Loved the tribute to in the mood for love/Chungking Express. Cheap fan service in some way, but it was great. Probably missed another 50 references/tributes

The husband in Everything Everywhere is the kid from Temple of Doom!?
Man... his voice reminded me of something all the way through the film and then bang, a huge "well, DUH!" moment.
