It's the director who made little women and lady bird right? I will watch it before Nolans new trash
Blake Lively has just lined up her feature directorial debut, with Deadline reporting that the former Gossip Girl star will soon be adapting a film version of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s graphic novel Seconds—O’Malley’s well-received follow-up to Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.
Edgar Wright—who helmed the beloved 2010 film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, based on O’Malley’s graphic novels—adapted the screenplay and will produce the new film alongside three-time Oscar nominee Marc Platt.Re-read this recently. It's pretty bad
But it's multiverse season so

The Fantastic Four movie might be less boring
Jon Watts has withdrawn as the director of Fantastic Four, the reinvention of the venerable Marvel Comics series at Marvel Studios and Disney. Watts just directed Spider-Man: No Way Home, the Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios film that grossed $1.89 billion to become the sixth highest grossing film of all-time. Nothing sinister here; Watts just needs a break from the superhero realm after completing the Spidey trilogy with Tom Holland and Zendaya. He had expected to make Fantastic Four his next film, the third feature iteration of that franchise and first since Disney acquired Fox, which controlled the franchise. Watts has spent the better part of the last decade directing and promoting the Spider-Man films, after being hired off Cop Car, a small budget indie thriller that premiered at 2015 Sundance. He needs a breather.I wonder if Sony poached him for their The Looter movie

Mattel tried to sue Aqua over the song which ended with the judged saying, and this is a direct quote, that "both parts are advised to chill".

Used to be Pedja.
Saw The Batman last night. Really surprised about the positive reaction. Thought it was just as boring as Batman: The Long Halloween. Acting and the look of it was alright though.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostWhy was this announced 2 days ago and I've barely seen anything online about it???Because it wasn't announced two days ago. That film has been in development hell for a decade and nothing recently has changed. The dude there is getting ahead of himself.
That will likely happen. There are some talk that Marvel are waiting to see how the public reacts before committing, thanks to Multiverse they could always recast.
By MF Coom Go To PostI watched it for the first time before 2049 came out and didn't really care about it. Liked the vibes though.
★★★★★ / When I took magic mushrooms the first time the world looked like this
2049 better.
In my mind, you two just spoiled me even without reading the spoilers.
So Reed is part of the Illuminati, and Krasinski is playing him.?

By Kabro Go To PostI don't expect multiverse Madness to one up Everything Everywhere.I so want to watch that. Seeing Michelle Yeoh getting emotional about how much it meant to her to get script really got to me, she is a legend and I am happy the movie is turning out to be a surprise little hit, even if that means that it's going to take a bit longer time to be available to me.

By Cleff Go To PostThis is a fantastic shot. Top Secret is such a good film.Hilarious film. I miss that style of comedies nowadays.
By Daz Go To PostAnother Michelle Yeoh fan.She is incredible. She matched Jackie Chan on terms of stunts in Super Cop 3, was one of the most badass Bond Girls ever (although it was one of the weakest Bond movies), was one of the leads on what is still the joint record holder of the foreign film with most Oscar nominations and was probably the best part on Crazy Rich Asians.
🤝
I am loving the love the world is giving her for Everything Everywhere, it's fully deserved.

Was pretty good
Getting around to Malcolm X. Incredible movie. Washington with one of the best performances I’ve ever seen; he turns in three or four distinct performances in this. There’s scenes in this as good as anything ever filmed. Gotta be up there as one of the best biopics.
Was watching Boogie Nights which I'd recorded from Teilifís na Gaeilge on Sky. Screen goes black for the final 30 minutes. Movie just ended with Don Cheadle in the donut shop.
Probably last watched it a decade ago. Really is a great film.
My two takeaways are it's incredible PTA was able to get an expensive ensemble film as his second film, and it's not his greatest role, but what a loss Philip Seymour Hoffman was.

I always find it legitimately outrageous how much better PSH is than the rest of the cast in every film he's in.

The Master the only one he’s matched in

Need to abolish sex scenes in movies for real. I was thinking about it earlier and the only films I can recall where they’re integral to the plot in any way are films where the main character has some kind of sex-related affliction, like in Shame (good film) and Nymphomaniac (awful film). Everything else? Bin it
