Shit trailer.
Loving it.
I seem to be the only person in the world who doesn't think Ragnarok was any better than the rest of them
Rewatched parts of No Time To Die
His name was Bond is the worst scene in the entire franchise, and Lea Seydoux is shit.

as someone who judges them by trailers, i agree.

Best is still Ang Lee's tho
Kevin Costner has a big western coming out called Horizon to dilute the IP and SEO naming waters even further
If there’s still a five-picture plan in place for Fantastic Beasts, clearly after this weekend’s $43M opening for The Secrets of Dumbledore, it’s time to pivot the Harry Potter franchise. That’s the lowest opening ever stateside for a J.K. Rowling Wizarding World movie, and it’s probably not prudent for the studio to go for another low opening record on the next project from the franchise. It was evident Potter fans didn’t like the last movie, Crimes of Grindelwald, even if there was a cliffhanger, and they didn’t want to come back for Dumbledore.Great numbers for the pandemic era
J.K. Winning
The Northman
Visually stunning and beautifully violent, reminded me of a video game in a lot of ways (perhaps a detriment lol)
But I'd rather see unique strange work like this from Hollywood than what the MCU is doing. Eggers is 3/3 in my book.

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent was great tbh. Nic Cage is back (not that he went anywhere).
I know this thread will agree with the #3 best film of all time mentioned in the film.

I haven’t seen any of the Cage renaissance films in recent years (Pig, Mandy, CooS). Need to catch up.

By Not Go To PostDUNE is the best selling science fiction novel of all time😩
By Elchele Go To PostThe Grand Budapest Hotel is his best for sure.Fantastic Mr Fox, had a simple story and the way it told it was amazing.
Fantastic Mr Fox is cute but storytelling-wise is mediocre
GNH is my least liked.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostIt's not even a good movie.
What rating would you give it?
4/10 if I'm being generous, Spiderman movies have always been lame.
Into the Spider-Verse is the one exception, that was fun and refreshing. Still holds up well.

As far as I'm concerned superhero films begin and end with Mask of the Phantasm and Into The Spider-Verse
By Laboured Go To PostNot going to judge how reilo spends his money.I sure am
I'm limiting myself to one of these a year
By Frustrated_me Go To Post4/10 if I'm being generous, Spiderman movies have always been lame. It's a terrible movie. Cynical and creatively bankrupt. Not even well executed for what it is.
Raimi movies hold up tho. The Peter Parker stuff is A+
By n8 dogg Go To PostI seem to be the only person in the world who doesn't think Ragnarok was any better than the rest of themI was quite disappointed by it. Other than Ultron it’s the only one I’ve turned off halfway through. If I saw it in theaters I probably would’ve nodded off like I have in a few other MCU joints

By RATHasReturned Go To PostEzra is a mess. They need help.People are so sensitive nowadays. Didn't Russel Crow run around punching people left and right while still being nominated for Oscars?
Loved the Batman, can't believe how quickly it got on Hbo Max. Since the movie was delayed a year I'd guess there should be another one coming rather soon, right?
