no thank you.
By Laboured Go To PostIdk but isn't Majors fairly stacked anyways?Yeah, he was already jacked in Lovecraft County.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostOnly thing that could make this description worse is if you said it was also a musical.
It's Damien Chazelle's new movie about Hollywood during the change from silent movies to talking movies.
Georgia is considering a proposal that would substantially blunt its film and TV tax incentive program, which may force production companies to reconsider shooting in the state if it passes.
A Georgia Senate committee on Monday supported a tax reform measure that would cap the amount the state spends on film and TV tax credits at $900 million a year. Even more impactful for Hollywood if it’s signed into law, the changes would eliminate the ability of production companies and studios to sell their tax credits.
The incentives program has transformed Georgia into a major production hub since it was created in 2006. Last year, the state doled out $1.2 billion in such credits for a return on $4 billion in spending from the industry.
In 2020, state auditors found that nearly 90 percent of the credits went to non-Georgia companies and a majority of labor expenditures went to out-of-state residents. While the credits result in more in-state film production spending and some of the money ends up in the hands of Georgians, most of it leaves the state when the camera stops rolling, according to Kennesaw State University professor of economics J.C. Bradbury.I don't see how this doesn't end with Disney donating even more money to the GOP
If the measure is signed into law, Bradbury believes that “you may see some companies become more permanently placed in Georgia” because film companies would no longer be able to sell the credits.
Oh this was not the Morbius Mania I was expecting.
On a serious note you have to say that it is very consistent with the two Venom movies.

oh boy
And the scene where someone tries to summon a cat by shaking their litter box, only to assume the cat is gone when that doesn't work, is the weirdest thing I've seen in years.
By bud Go To Postand oslo is a beautiful place.I was thinking the same, the scene where she stumbles into a wedding party made me realize how beautiful it is.
i should go there sometime.
As much as I've come to dislike the MCU, they still know how to make entertaining superhero movies.
Every attempt by the DC/Warner collaboration has been pretty shit. And Sony's Spiderman Universe efforts have been even worse.

Feels like they are deliberately trying to make the worst movies possible with these Venom/Morbius 🗑
Nevermind
UPDATED, 5:59 PM: Proposed changes to Georgia’s best-in-the-country film incentives program have been scrapped. The proposed changes, which would have capped tax credits at $900 million a year and banned film companies from selling the credits to third parties, had been backed by Georgia’s Senate Finance Committee but got no further in the legislative process.
Aquaman was decent if a bit to long and James Gunn's Suicide Squad was great. Shazam also worth a shout. R Patts Batman was great.
But everything Snyder has touched is trash.

Thought James Gunn's Suicide Squad was very underwhelming. Peacemaker series is the best piece of content DC/Warner has produced

It's a nice place, just be sure to go there one of the few months it isn't freezing. Also go to Frognerparken ovne you're there. That's where the guy kicking babies statue is, but also a bunch of other great ones.
By Cleff Go To PostBruce Willis is retiring from acting after being diagnosed with a condition which affects his cognitive abilities. Poor man.
this time passing by and growing old nonsense gets sadder every year ever since I'm close to hitting 30 :(
Enjoyed Death on the Nile, much more than I did Murder on the Orient Express at least
Takes ages to get going though and it doesn't make great use of it's location. If you're gonna set a film in Egypt, give me some big sweeping shots innit. Predecessor had the same issue, but the train spends most of the story stuck in place there.

By Daz Go To PostDamn, Mama FF really like that?it's a strange situation. She sometimes says things a racist would say and then sometimes says things a racist wouldn't say.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostMy mum complained there was too many black people in it.So she has an upper limit of one?
Forgot it had Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer and Letitia Wright in it before I watched. Russell Brand was an odd choice as a proven terrible actor, but he wasn't too bad.
By Righteous Furry Go To PostSo she has an upper limit of one?Well, there was Shuri and her aunt. Also the cousin might have been too brown for her liking. She complained that it wasn't realistic to the time that it was supposed to take place.

Grim as fuck.
It was among 22 films Willis did in four years.Sheeesh
“It was less of an annoyance and more like: ‘How do we not make Bruce look bad?’” one of the crew members said. “Someone would give him a line and he didn’t understand what it meant. He was just being puppeted.”It reads like his agents knew all along but kept him working because of his name and quick payout. Slimy fucks.
Oh they knew, absolutely no way they didnt. I posted it before, but look at some of the examples in the rlm video from earlier this year, he is stumbling his words, they are using 'stunt doubles' for everything they possibly can like even him just standing with his back turned, he is wearing an earpiece that they are feeding him the very few words he has to say with and so on.
The hope was everyone knew and understood including himself, and he just decided to give it the last he got to keep earning money for his kids and grandchildren and so on

One of the first movie stars I ever was cognisant of. Vivid memories of watching Die Hard too young, Pulp Fiction too young, Fifth Element too young, 12 Monkeys too young… and loving them. Shitty news. Meant to check out Motherless Brooklyn, apparently one of his last good performances. I enjoyed him a lot in Moonrise Kingdom. His Friends guest role was great too.

Questions need to be asked of Willis's family as well because there's no way they couldn't have known. If his health was clearly declining as early as 2018 he should have been stopped from acting.
They clearly knew but he was being paid $2m for under 8 hours of work so they could use his likeness on posters to get people watching on foreign streaming.
Scum.
Scum.
Must be miserable to be an acto with a family. They gonna force your ass to work and make money so that they never have to work
Wasn’t Stan Lee’s daughter forcing him to work? Dude was old and decrepit and made that dude go NYCC and he probably didn’t even remember who he was. I remember my younger brother waiting on line to get an autographed comic and they had to take like 5 breaks because he needed them

There's a point at which you are well past just hopeful denial about the cognitive decline of a family member and are in deep negligence or outright exploitation of the person.
