the film is 108 minutes and sy takes 2 weeks to watch it.
By s y Go To Postalmost done with titane. I wonder how a film like this gets pitched? or is it self funded?they are mostly funded with public money from cultural funds.
By Laboured Go To PostMy only new year's resolution is to jizz-pill n8.
My first two films of 2022:
The Curse of La Llorona - 1.5/5 - Cardellini why waste urself on this jump scare trash? Laughable shit. Some nice lighting.
Hunt for the Wilderpeople (RW) - 4.5/5 - we stan Ricky Baker

By DiPro Go To Postto be fair to sy, he only said he never saw a good perfomance of him and considering it's sy he probably only saw him in Thor 2.💀💀💀💀💀💀
Annoyed that I likely won't get to see Licorice Pizza in the cinema, even if his last two were duds. It's not playing at my local cinemas and I have no call for travelling to the big smoke where it would be playing considering we're all working from home again.

Bad opinion and you should feel bad.
Watched Ste. Anne last night. An independent, avant-garde Canadian film from 2021 and I didn’t hate it. Lovely images and it was shot on 16mm - only a barebones plot though. Not sure if I’d recommend it as a must see but it’s a good example of the work emerging from the Canadian prairies and indigenous filmmaking in general.
Need to see phantom thread.
Got done with brighter summer day. Very good but fuck me, 4 hours is a long time. It was kind of like 4 different genres of films in one too though, didn't even feel bloated somehow

Have both downloaded I am pretty sure (certainly have Tapei downloaded) but not watched either yet. Will get there some day.
Need something easy to watch now, probably st maud. Inshallah

Watched this horror film on Shudder called Host, really liked it. Love these well done, small indie horror films where everyone acts so natural and everything happens organically.

Really good film.

Everyone did their own makeup and special effects.
One of the rare movies that is better to watch on a laptop or tablet than on a large screen.

By LFMartins86 Go To PostSony moved Morbius again, this time to April 1st.What’s the record for official delays?
This is the 7th release date given to this movie.
We will get Marvel vs DC before this movie ever comes out

The only movie I've ever preferred in 480p vs HD/UHD was Chronicle. Found footage movies just don't work in 4k.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostSony moved Morbius again, this time to April 1st.Perfect date. What are the chances that the movie is New Mutant'ed?
By Old King Rob Go To PostWhat’s the record for official delays?Probably this one. The New Mutants had 5 delays, I think.

By DerZuhälter Go To PostPerfect date. What are the chances that the movie is New Mutant'ed?What do you mean New Mutant'ed? Because that one was released on theaters.
Lumet's The Pawnbroker is really incredible, especially for a Hollywood film of that era. Harrowing story, fantastic cinematography and direction, great lead performance, and a great Quincy Jones soundtrack.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostWhat do you mean New Mutant'ed? Because that one was released on theaters. It was? Thought it was straight to D+
By DerZuhälter Go To PostIt was? Thought it was straight to D+Yeah, came out in August 2020.
St Maud was decent. Main character and what she goes through reminded me of First Reformed quite a bit, just less interesting.
Came from watching Belfast.
Really enjoyed it, but considering the amount of awards it has lined-up, I was expecting more. Maybe, the whole over-dramatized, emotionally manipulative Hollywood award winning films spoiled me, since this one was just a regular slice of life about certain point of time and place.
Also, its way too short!
It came out in cinemas here in UK. Was really considering watching at that time.
Still haven't watched it...
