When it came to holding your breath, what were your personal bests?Tom Cruise shit
SALDAÑA: I’m very competitive, but we had an Oscar-winning actress in our cast that did seven minutes.
Was that Kate Winslet?
WEAVER: Jesus, yeah, seven minutes.
Did you have any idea she was capable of that?
CAMERON: No, and she didn’t either! But Kate’s a demon for prep, so she latched onto the free diving as something that she could build her character around. Kate’s character is someone who grew up underwater as an ocean-adapted Na’vi — they’re so physically different from the forest Na’vi, that we’d almost classify them as a subspecies. So she had to be utterly calm underwater, and it turned out that she was a natural.

The Spanish actually have some good horror movies, The Orphanage is probably the most well known besides [rec] but 1996's Tesis and 2007's Veronica (this one should be on Netflix) are two others who immediately come to my head.
Barbarian - enjoyed it 3/5ths of the way, after which point it turned into a sort of parody of itself and not - at least from my perspective - in an intentional way. I guess some people will love it for that, it had the opposite effect on me.
Im Westen Nichts Neues - solid war film, well acted, well shot, but with nothing new to say about war or anything, really.

Yeah, it's awesome.
The Night House was decent, but Rebecca Hall is easily the best aspect of the film. Superb performance. Thought it took too long to really get going tho.

There's something about DCCU films that make them feel like the color setting on a TV being turned to max.
Just heavy handed with absolutely everything. No subtlety.

Can we have a trailer, please? This would probably be out this month if WB hadn't decide to push for a theatrical release.
Didn't see that this was posted here already but it's a bizarre project.
While not the first time Fuller makes a prequel of a horror classic, Psycho at least had something to work with, there's not much in terms of backstory for Jason.

If it's a prequel wouldn't it be his mother?
Gray addressed concerns over the casting in his new coming-of-age movie in a New York Times interview published Friday. Amid calls for more authentic representation in Hollywood projects, "Armageddon Time" stars a handful of actors who are not Jewish, including Anthony Hopkins, portraying members of a Jewish immigrant family. Gray, who is Jewish himself, said he isn't too worried about what critics have to say. We've reached peak stupidity
"I reserve the right to cast someone like Anthony Hopkins," the "Ad Astra" director said. "Does that person watch 'The Godfather' and complain that Marlon Brando is from Omaha, Neb., and not an Italian New York guy?"
Jewish people especially underrepresented in Hollywood

Yeah I've not been following much but I think because of the way the rights are split (one guy owns many of the IP rights relating to the first movie and another owns the irghts to the sequels), Jason in his usual hokey mask get up can't show up in this thing.

Cunningham (producer and director of the first movie) holds the Friday The 13th name and everything that has to do with the sequels, including adult Jason and his mask (Cunningham hates the mask).
So this is likely been made with Miller behind it.
All Quiet on the Western front was exactly what I wanted from a WW1 movie, need more, give me a Harlem Hellfighters movie now.
Don't Himalayan villagers or some other groups have insanely good teeth because they're not eating processed shit all day like us advanced societies?
Maybe he got old, happens to all of us. Or maybe it’s like how comic book movies have hype trailers and then are mostly dirt, and here it could be the opposite.
Looks dogshit. But then the first is probably bad too. I enjoyed it well enough in 3D in the cinema but have had zero desire ever to see it again.
