By Willkiller Go To PostNot sure if seriousI am, Malignant is a genuine good time.
By data Go To PostStill have to check the TV show.
Chucky gotta be the funniest slasher
By LFMartins86 Go To PostStill have to check the TV show.First season's great. Haven't watched the new one yet.
Brad Dourif still killin it
Malignant was shit, I just don't get it. The first half was so fucking boring, the second half is way overhyped as being 'crazy'. It's just crazy in comparison to the incredibly dull first hour.

I enjoyed how much the first half leaned into stereotypical genre; there was a bit where it did the fake out ‘something is going to be behind the door oh no wait it’s okay’ three times in the same scene and I laughed out loud. Then the second half had all of the wild plot developments, some great prosthetic work, and Wan knows how to shoot a film. Some really good cinematography and colour grading.
I just enjoyed it a lot. Knew exactly what kind of film it was and swung for the fences.
By WoodenLung Go To PostGoing to see Holy Spider sometime this weekend i think
Garfield maguire or holland
Watched the first nightmare on elm street. Acting ans dialogue are atrocious ( save Freddy obviously ) but man that's a striking film in the Dreamworld
Wouldve loved a better female lead like Jamie Lee or the girl in Hellraiser. Or Freddy's mortal enemy, Sy

Young Johnny Depp doing the job for Freddy early on. Had some of the best visuals of the series aswell.

Those movies with its huge slapstick style of comedy were such a product of its time. I highly doubt they'd carry that on, so I imagine they'll dumb a lot of that stuff down.

Idk about this list. Some odd choices but Duel so high is gigabrain. Amazing film

Yeah, Duel is great. Munich and Schindler too low, AI too high. Can quibble about others like Jurassic and Raiders but the guy has made lots of good films.

Oh for sure. Maybe they won't even try to do so, but just doubt they can do that again. Those films (and Police Squad!) got so many jokes going on, in every little scene, and it's still beautiful. Probably the funniest films made imo.
you mean police academy? yeah, those movies were fun to watch with the family.
hot shots was fun too.

By bud Go To Postyou mean police academy?
no, not a fan of police academy.
Hot Shots was alright. But nowhere close to those and airplane.
I like some of De Palma's films, but he really does rip off Hitchcock shamelessly, doesn't he :lol
Just watched Raising Cain, and it's a fun watch due to John Lithgow's bonkers performance but it's quite messy and boring most of the time when Lithgow isn't on screen

By Laboured Go To PostDamn, sounds like Jailb8 in his prime.
amazing.
and even more amazing, this lad owning it
By Laboured Go To PosthuahuahuahuahuaI seen the first one this week, heard the second one is even more disgusting so I am not shocked that it was too much for some people.
I don't know if I can handle 2h and 20 minutes of "that" but even gruesome.
Art The Clown is a terrific villain for someone who is a clown who doesn't make a sound.
Terrifier 2 is actually doing well in the box office, it made only 1.2M$ but it had the second highest average for theater last weekend.
Even those 1.2M$ is damn good given the 250k budget and it's going to stay one theaters one more week due to fan demand.

Last movie that was actually hard to watch was Titane. From the clips I've seen, Terrifier I've scene don't even come close.
m8, they filmed all three Lord of the Rings at the same time, when Peter Jackson was an unknown New Zealand horror director. I'm sure the Avatar brand and James Cameron are bankable at this stage.
