By s y Go To PostIsn't it that they're cutting scripted content from TBS and TNT but unscripted(reality) from HBO?The rumour that has been circulating today is that they will announce what I said on the other post tomorrow.

They gotta scrap Ezra's Flash.
How the fuck they gonna salvage that? It looked awful from the teasers.

From Variety:
This is sad:
The decision still comes as a shock, as studios almost never shelve productions outright, preferring to get at least some return on their investment. It also comes as Warner Bros. is still contending with what to do about “The Flash,” a DC adaptation created — and budgeted — specifically for theatrical release in 2023. The film has been utterly hamstrung by repeated allegations of abuse and misconduct by its star, Ezra Miller. It'll probably still come out.
This is sad:
And it’s not like “Batgirl” was a small movie, either. Along with Grace, J.K. Simmons plays Barbara’s father, Commissioner Jim Gordon, and Michael Keaton reprises his role as Batman (as he also does in “The Flash”). Brendan Fraser plays the villain, Firefly, and Grace told Variety in April that she had preliminary discussions with El Arbi and Fallah about what a sequel “could be.”
“There’s crazy stunts, crazy drops,” Grace said of the film. “She’s a biker chick, so you’re going to see her do a bunch of badassery… There were a lot of long days, but it was so worth it.”
Even soulless execs shook
Discovery the new evil empire
“Batgirl” found itself on the bad end of that decision, apparently neither big enough to feel worthy of a major theatrical release nor small enough to make economic sense in an increasingly cutthroat streaming landscape. Spending the money to expand the scope of “Batgirl” for theaters — plus the $30 million to $50 million needed to market it domestically and the tens of millions more needed for a global rollout — could have nearly doubled spending on the film, and insiders say that was a non-starter at a company newly focused on belt-tightening and the bottom line.
Releasing the movie on HBO Max would seem to be the most obvious solution. Instead, the company has shelved “Batgirl” — along with the “Scoob!” sequel — and several sources say it will almost certainly take a tax write-down on both films, seen internally as the most financially sound way to recoup the costs (at least, on an accountant’s ledger). It could justify that by chalking it up to a post-merger change of strategy.
Doing so, however, would mean that Warner Bros. cannot monetize either movie — no HBO Max debut, no sale to another studio.

Prey at a 96% at RT after 70 reciews.I know I am getting annoying but I am so excited for it.
Predator isn't my favourite series but I like every movie of the series besides The Predator.
I think Predator 2 is severely underrated, I love the opening sequence and the change of scenery is a great choice.
I also love that (spoilers for Prey) the old gun that is given to Danny Glover comes from what happened on Prey.
It's a shame that I won't get to watch it on Friday.

By Perfect Blue Go To PostBlessYou see Three Billboards yet? Also very good.
In Bruges was so good. Might see that at TIFF
I know it made a ton of money so a sequel was always going to happen, but boy, I can't think of anything I'm less interested in than a Joker 2. I genuinely hated the first one. Todd Phillips is an awful director that consistently makes terrible, mean-spirited films.
That trailer was so good. What a premise for a film. The bit where he said ‘you liked me yesterday’ made me laugh out loud.
Farrell always best when he’s Irish.
